Really easy sugar cookie bars that use coconut oil instead of butter. These have coconut extract and are topped with pink tinted shredded coconut because coconut sugar cookie bars are so yum. I spread 1/2 with strawberry jam before frosting (super yum!). Swap your fav extract to change up the flavor. #cookiebars #coconutbars #pinkcoconut #coconutcookies #coconut For the #coconutcookiebars 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup coconut oil 1 cup sugar 1 large egg 2 Tbl sour cream or Greek yogurt 2 tsp coconut extract# 1/2 cup coconut flakes (optional tint your fav color) Preheat over to 350 Mix sugar and coconut oil until fluffy. Add egg, sour cream and extract. In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add flour mix to egg mix. Press cookie mix into 9X9 pan. Bake for 18 mins or just golden on top. Chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and pink coconut babka. Was going for a hostess snoball look but the chocolate was not as deep dark chocolatey but still tasty! Fun for #valentinesday 💘 #snoball #hostesssnoballs #babka #pinkbabka #pink #babkabread #chocolatebabka #valentinesdaybakeideas #valentinesdaytreats Chocolate “Snoball” Babka recipe 1/2 cup warm milk 1 package active dry yeast 1 egg 1/3 cup cocoa 2 TBL boiling hot water 1/4 cup canola oil 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 tsp fine sea salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract About 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup buttercream 3/4 cup marshmallow fluff 3/4 cup coconut flakes (tinted pink) Mix yeast and warm milk until bubbly. Add cocoa to hot water to make a paste. Add egg, oil, sugar, salt and vanilla to yeast and water. Add flour until ball forms. Need for 10 minutes or until elastic. Cover and let dough rise for about an hour. Roll out to rectangle. Spread with marshmallow fluff, buttercream and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Roll up into jelly roll and cut down center lengthwise. Cross cross halves into babka shape and add to pan. Let rise another hour. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 mins.
