We naturally go through our lives collecting and storing memories and attachments. This weighs us down and keeps our attention on things of this world when the reality is that we are travelers briefly passing through this place. Our lifetime is merely a drop in an ocean, a blink in God’s infinite eye, a twinkling star in celestial darkness.
As beautiful as this light of our life is, there is a greater light of far more splendor, a light of God’s mystery, the light of the realm where our souls are born from. When we focus on this light of Eternal Life, our experience on earth changes, our energies rise and our hearts become as light as a feather. When we let go of our attachments to what arises in the world is when we feel true peace. One can only experience this peace for themselves to understand it, once they do, it will never leave them. It is the peace promised to us by God.
