HELLO coming in with an ask for one Derek Suarez Wondering on any headcanons for Derek with an mc who's alt in some fashion? emo goth punk etc all that stuff. Just like all how he'd react as a largely pretty normal dude to being shown a lot about that, supporting and hyping up his partner in being such, and maybe even pulled a bit into those scenes and being took out of his usual comfort zone

OFC OFC!!! This is so cute, its so funny too cause like the difference between a jock like derek and a emo mc is too fun to give up! Hope this is to your liking!

Derek is a pretty normal guy, and I think he would be keenly aware of how straight-laced he is in comparison to people like Terry and Cove. So it does tickle his funny bone a bit when he introduces his partner to other people and those people are flabbergasted when they see him walk in with the most cuntiest slaying spiked out person they could imagine

In a patreon Q&A, I remember Derek liking some form of rock music that was more largely in the alt catergory like nu metal. So I don't think he's actually as normal as other people think he is, and him and the MC have frequent conversations on alt music, especially. It's something to bond over

The idea of the MC putting on NIN or Linkin Park and Derek bopping his head and tapping his fingers on the wheel while their on a road trip is too goddamn cute. Also I think they would have a ball at karaoke

Derek also likes to buy them stuff from Hot Topic and Spencer's, or really anything he feels like they would be into that would match their outfits. Hell, if the MC is into corpse paint, then by god, Derek's hyper masculine ass is pulling up to Sephora and Ulta to buy his baby corpse paint from their preferred brand.

Whenever their out and about, their always have their arms interlinked, and while they do get a lot of stares, especially the MC, Derek does not care! He thinks the MC is super cool and doesn't care that they contrast a lot. Also, he knows that the MC is always gonna be the showstopper between them, and he's their #1 hype man

Fun tidbit, but I can imagine the MC wanting to dress up Derek in alt fashion and out of the LIs, he's the least hesitant about it. He doesn't mind face paint, and he's not afraid of piercings or anything like that, so I can imagine the MC puts on paint and clip on piercings for him and they go out and have a blast together sometimes. Derek in tripp pants would be really cute actually-

OLBA Guys Valentine's Day Headcanons

in honor of only having experienced valentine’s day with a partner exactly one time and years ago (even though it’s not february yet) I just wanna write a little bit abt what I think the olba boys would do or how they would react on valentine’s day. (pls don’t critique this too too hard I haven’t written anything creatively for fun in years and also apologies bcs the derek one will probably be shorter since I haven’t played his dlc route romantically yet - if it's constructive though by all means go ahead!!) actually fair warning for baxter too I haven’t finished his romance dlc route either… now that I think abt it general dlc spoiler warning too I do not have a good enough memory to remember which things only happened in the dlc for the things I’m mentioning at least 😅. I’m also kind of imagining this post step 4 ngl very established relationship type of thing! (in this case romantic but I feel like they might also do things if you’re both single and just friends honestly) also I'm trying to figure out if m/c or just you is better lowk leaning towards m/c but you is more natural to write with idrk yet... (just in case any of this is insanely similar to anything else anyone else has written I promise that I cannot currently recall and all the olba content I have consumed has become one big mush of events and memories so apologies I did not intend to feel free to tell me! - I am scared ppl will think I am one of those reuploaders who take ppls content since I have exactly two posts to my name so)

Hmm okay so for Baxter it's kind of been stuck in my head that he'd want to revisit the mountain lodge again with you

Maybe take a couple of days off (more than last time!)

Wake up as late as you guys want with less of a time crunch, sleepy mornings/afternoon in bed maybe one set aside just for that specifically (I could definitely see him as super clingy in the morning, just wanting to constantly have some sort of physical contact, loves you running your hands through his hair while he's half awake)

Then when you guys hike again you'd go back to that log across the river maybe he'd sneakily take a picture of you watching the sunset from there

Then back to the lodge to relax get room service again for sure, every time you go you try a new mix of food? (I swear he mentions smth abt two foods combined)

Then late night drinks cozying up next to the fireplace, if he got you some gift (which I think he would I'm just having trouble with what exactly honestly) he would give it then

Maybe a little secretive dance out in the woods? I could see him scoping out possible clearings close enough to the trail so safety is less of an issue

He would just use his phone's speaker for some gentle music nothing too loud so as to not disturb the wildlife

(I'm pretty sure there is probably some time limit as to when ppl are allowed out on the trail but I think he might break that rule?)

Would bring one of those lantern things or just a dance in the moonlight?

I could see this being in pajamas and not fancy clothes honestly

If this was back in a city though he would bring you to the idk what it's called the studio? That building he has access to for his clients both of you dressed up real fancy and dimmed lighting or something

(I got a little focused on the lodge possibility haha)

Also an early riser and kinda like I said in Cove's I could really see him doing the whole breakfast in bed with those bed tray things

It would be a mix of healthy and indulgent like pancakes absolutely drenched in syrup but with a variety of fruits you like!

(Cut up in cute little hearts/shapes bcs he seems like an acts of service kind of guy - unhealthily at first but therapy and reassurance works wonders I would think)

He seems like the type of guy to purposefully ask you to be his valentine

With some flowers and maybe a home cooked meal

Would want to make it a day of fun outdoors or just things you guys don't normally indulge in

I could also see him especially for some reason being the type to write one of those adorably long letters or scrapbook of pictures of lovely moments in your guys' relationship

ALSO I know this is just stuff they're doing for you but please real life relationships mean you also do cute meaningful things for your partner(s) as well especially on a day celebrating your guys' relationship!

It always makes him flustered!!

Whenever he feels your fingers brush against his skin while you try to bandage him up almost makes him want to explode himself (in a good way!!)

He looks at you like you're an angel whenever you take care of him (he's convinced that you actually are one)

At first, he was in denial. Trying to rationalize that you were just that great of a person (another reason why he doesn't deserve you)

Cove would've needed to point out that fact himself, and insist that yeah, you do give him special treatment

As much as he denies it, he cant help but feel giddy. Probably thinks about it late at night on his bed, giggling and blushing and kicking his legs like a fool

A part of him is selfish. He wanted to mess up more, he wanted to fail, to fall, to get hurt just so you can pamper him

He wouldn't actually do it!! In fact, he probably beats himself up over the evil thought!!

That doesn't mean it doesn't exist though…

Checking up on him daily makes him fall 101% more head over heels in love with you (pls bandage himself up for falling too hard)

Make him lunch and he's just about ready to get married to you for reals

However he refuses to be the only one taken care of, in fact. He's going to take it as a lighthearted challenge, he'll go out of his way to absolutely spoil you.

Bag too heavy? He'll take it! Your legs are sore from running? Let him carry you! There's a door in your way? Its just screaming for him to open it!!

If you deal with the same problems he does, he'd most definitely catch on pretty quickly. He's dealing with it himself after all!

It makes him feel more appreciated, seen. You were someone he cherished that he can relate to

Does it make him happy though? Hell no!

Derek was just about ready to carry the weight of the world if it meant you wouldn't put yourself last

Always assures you that its okay to be selfish every once in a while! That you deserved to be taken care of, that people didn't stick with you so you can handle their problems
