So I was thinking a bit more about this post about how RWBY+J seem to be arriving in Vacuo around the same time that Amity is getting there, and the possible symbolic implications of that regarding Penny and her parallels with Amity/Hope

But the thing is, those two things happening at the same time isn't a coincidence. The Blacksmith sent RWBY+J back not just where, but when they would be needed most, and when they're needed most is apparently right when Amity (along with Pietro and Maria) are arriving in Vacuo as well

What if the reason now is when they're needed most is because now they'll be able to help Pietro bring Penny back?
