the first time I heard about yv was because his lotor audios showed up in my recommended

it wasn’t until I heard him in a collab where I decided to check him out. and a certain pink haired man pulled me in deep

Actually now that I think about it, there is a sliver of a chance my first YV video was a Sidon one. Given the history of my special interests (especially on this account bc YV was not the first thing I was yapping about here), that miiiight have been it. Or it really was Alphonse's pink hair peeking up from the recommended that had me like "ouuu what is that". It was one of those two.

Shiloh (Sunflower) and Finn’s song is definitely Everyone Adores You (at least I do) by Matt Maltese

I think the lyrics are very them-coded, especially the chorus. and the song itself gives soft vibes too

Do y'all associate any songs with your listeners and the YV characters? If you had to choose one, what would it be?

Ik for me, Ciel (Boo) and the Alphonse's song is for sure Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood. At least from Ciel's perspective.

I think that Ciel kind of interprets their love through the lens of things that they personally find comforting, things like rain and quiet. And I think Sweater Weather, being both passionate, yet almost kind of melancholic in sound perfectly encapsulates that kind of energy. Eir love for Alphonse is intense and unyielding, much like a storm. But also soothing and replenishing, if that makes sense?

Also the song is just vibey as fuck 😩 And I like the part about high waisted shorts because that's very much a Ciel thing (istg I'll drop their character thingy when I have time). It's like hehe shorts, hehe sweater, that's what they both wear tee hee ha ha. Idk, it amuses me UvU.
