Gomez led the little girl through the mansion, helping her down the grand stair case and into the kitchen. Mama was sitting at the table, reading something from the paper. She looked up and gasped in delight, "Gomez! Where did you find this little thing?"

The Addams man smiled gently at Ari, reassuring her that Mama was safe. "Ah, she just kind of...Showed up. Hoping I'd have some Eye of Newt left." He searched through the old, rusty, creaking fridge. "Eye...Eye of newt..." He grumbled before pulling out a plate of the odd stuff, "Here. It's better cold, trust me."

In hindsight, maybe this week wasn't a good time for Morticia to go on a trip with her Witch friends. Gomez supported her wholeheartedly, but 3 children in one house without his wife was...Stressful, to say the least.

So when he heard a thud from his study, the man thought nothing of it. It was when he'd heard the footsteps, and counted the children, did he start to worry. "Stay here. Don't kill your brother while I'm out." He warned Wednesday and Pugsley, before starting up the stairs and into the study.

"Stealing would be an exaggeration, little one." Gomez's eyes landed on the bottle and he immediately snatched it away. "This is not food." He directed, putting the bottle back in the cupboard. He stared down at this little girl before lightly tapping his loafer on the wood planks. Gods, Tish was better with children.

"Are you hungry? I could see if we have anymore Eye of Newt." His own personal favorite dish. He offered his hand, "Come, little Ari. You're safe in this house."

"Who are you?" He turned to the little one again, frowning. "I'm not going to eat you." Gomez kneeled on his knee so he'd be eye level with the small child. "I am Gomez Addams...What is your name?"

The Doctor grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the way just as the creature's claws hit the ground. "Now," He said, with excitement tingling in his voice. "We run!" He broke into a sprint, holding her hand tightly as he laughed out loud.

And then, the door was open. The Doctor sprinted down the hall, yelling like a maniac to get the beast's attention. The alien's head spun around, locking on the Doctor with an enraged roar. The Doctor yelped and turned tail, rushing back to Jasmine. "NOW!!" he yelled, ducking behind her and holding his sonic.

The alien was rushing towards them, roaring and grunting as it reached them and reared up to attack.

The Doctor smiled and held it close to his other heart. "Thank you, little one...I'll cherish it forever." He smiled and gave her a snuggle. Maybe this child wouldn't be so bad...Focus! Find the mother, question her thoroughly and then morally adopt this small girl. "Come along, lets check out." He bought all these supplies and then, with boldness and determination he started his long journey of finding Ariana's mother.

The TARDIS responded by whirring, alerting its owner to the newest life form on the ship. The time lord peeked around the console, tilting his head in confusion and concern. A baby? How did a baby get on his ship!? “Uh, hello! That isn’t yours!” He raced around and scooped her up before she could touch any of the shiny things. “Who’re you? Wheres your mum?”

The Doctor sighed heavily and put his head down to think. He could buy her all those things, and he could look after her. But him, a father, was what was scaring him. He hadn't been a father in centuries, could he pull it off? And what if Ariana's mother was searching for her? "Uh...Thank you..." He said to the employee, taking their suggestions and walking through the store.

Think. He told himself. What would Rose do? What would Martha do? What would Donna do? He couldn't think straight with this child looking up at him with her puppy dog eyes. He didn't know anything about her! What would happen if she didn't take to kindly to space?

"I..I don't know, little one. We need to find your mama."

"Oh, pardon me for just a moment, but could you choose one for me? thanks!" He ran off, grabbing a diaper pack and going into the family bathroom.

"Ok, ok..." He changed and cleaned her, making stupid faces to entertain her. "Alright...There! Done." He smiled brightly and spun her around in his arms. "Aren't you a brave girl? Brave girl! Brilliant!!"

So many questions, which would only add more to his own personal collection of them. "She's uh..." He cleared his throat, trying to avoid the questioning when he heard Ari whimper. Thank Gallifrey, this child could read minds. "Oh look at that, she must be hungry! I better be off! Bye now!" He rushed past the group, and ran quickly into the nearest department store.

Baby food. Baby food...He had never bought anything from a department store before. Rose, Donna or Martha would always buy what they needed for him. So here he was, cradling a small infant to his chest as he stared at the jars of mashed foods.

The Doctor thought for a minute. Green goo, roaring, chasing them through a hall...He knew what it was, but how they would defeat it would be the problem. "Its a Rudanciamiounious..." of course, his pronunciation was perfect for the rare creature. "I've only come across one once before, a long time ago..." He frowned and scanned the door. It was gone, most likely back to its prey.

"When I open the door...You run upstairs and go hide. I'll deal with the alien. I don't want you getting hurt, alright Jasmine?" The Doctor ordered, preparing himself for battle.
