I hate Snake Lane as much as anyone else who played bloodborne but I gotta get real. That moment when you get inside the mill and everything is like 10x Darker than the outside darkness, and you just see a dude with a torch, an ax, and a sack on his head slumping downstairs unlike any other beast possessed man you’ve seen yet, you approach him to attack and he starts to contort and BOOM SNAKE FACE that shit is pure fucking horror and it’s way too unappreciated.

its probably both tbh though i still don't think they've kept the ability to right good stories if you build up a revenge plot and then have the final boss of it be not the person your taking revenge on and then make his death a cutscene you have no real interaction with.

... ok it might be bothI feel like they write really good characters? Like I love most if not all characters in Destiny. But the plot and stories are absolutely horrendous.Seriously how do you fuck up a revenge story? That’s one of the most basic ass plots ever, man

Bungie still has great writing, but either they got lazy or (more likely) activision is actively slicing an amazing 10+years worth of experiences MMO that was already planned out into 10 shitty games with ovepriced DLC
