Rango (2011)

I’m the guy! The protagonist, the hero! Every story needs a hero! I mean, who else is better qualified to bask in the adulation of his numerous companions?

We as a society needs to start recognizing Rango (2011) as the iconic film that it is. It’s one of the only non-Disney films to win best animated film at the Oscars, it portrays golf and the rich as being inherently evil, the character design is fucking incredible, it’s got some of the best goddamn voice acting of all time, and the score was composed by none other than the legend Hans Zimmer himself
