Original released 21 October 2006 I spy topical jokes with my little eye! You heard about Triton going under, right? Well 3DRealms would have been ok if they'd only developed their own games download service like Mist! I almost made this a DOS style interface, then the system would have been a TSR so it could download patches in the background. Hey waitaminute, that would have been funnier!

Original released 30 September 2006 Duke3D had a lot of hookers in it, what exactly does that mean?

Original released 23 September 2006 I used to *love* playing Duke3D multiplayer and using the HoloDuke to set traps for the person I was playing with. If you plant a few carefully placed pipebombs then setup the HoloDuke in just the right spot and then get the other player to fall for it, the payoff was great! :)

Original released 16 September 2006 Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty ("fat modeling") or suction lipectomy ("suction-assisted fat removal") is a cosmetic surgery operation which removes fat from many different sites on the human body. Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck, arms and elsewhere. The fat is usually removed via a cannula and aspirator. While exercise and dieting may be useful for losing unwanted weight and fat, some fat deposits may not respond to efforts at weight loss. Applying liposuction techniques may be an option in these situations. Liposuction is not a low-effort alternative to exercise and diet. It is a form of body contouring and not a weight loss method. The amount of fat removed varies by doctor, method, and patient, but the average amount is typically less than 10 pounds (5 kg). There are several factors that limit the amount of fat that can be safely removed in one session. Ultimately, the operating physician and the patient make the decision. There are negative aspects to removing too much fat. Unusual "lumpiness" and/or "dents" in the skin can be seen in those patients "over suctioned". Reports of people removing 50 pounds (22.7 kg) of fat are exaggerated. However, the contouring possible with liposuction may cause the appearance of weight loss to be greater than the actual amount of fat removed. The procedure may be performed under general or local ("tumescent") anesthesia. The safety of the technique relates to the amount of tissue removed, the choice of anesthetic, and the patient's overall health.

Original released 09 September 2006 This is the nearest I think I've got to creating a topical comic, based on the fact that Shacknews recently reported that quote a lot of 3DRealms devlopers had walked off to do other things.

Original released 02 September 2006 Remember kids, don't try making your own pipebomb at home. It's dangerous, time consuming and expensive. Just buy one off the internet ready made instead!

Original released 12 August 2006 Welcome to the first ever Strife Short! It was Sunday morning and I was thinking that I wanted to provide the Strife fans with a more regular flow of comics. The trouble is having the time to write, film and edit a long episode means new comics seem to only appear every month or so. Then I had a brain wave! Why not create a series of 'shorts', very short episodes that can stand on their own. So I got to work and producing a number of these little productions. So that now there can be a regular Strife comic every week, with a longer episode appearing every now and again. Regular Strife, beautiful! :)

Original released 08 July 2006 Thanks Mr Bob Averill for the production of the screenplay used today, you can tell when he's behind the script as he uses lots of fancy words and their are less spelling mistakes. However as I'm the Executive Producer of all things Strike, I made a few tweaks to the script which I'm sure Bob will want to kick me in the nuts for doing ;) I made a real effort with this comic to give it a variety of angles and frame sizes, to add some more visual flair to the proceedings. I always think it makes it much more interesting to look at. I just got New Super Mario Bros to entertain me on my DS, which may explain why I suddenly felt the urge to put this comic into production, even though I've had the script on hand for weeks. Or perhaps it was because I've started to get hate mail for not producing enough new content. One of those...

Original released 25 March 2006 When I first started out doing This Strife, it was because I loved computer games and I really wanted to bring in characters from all the other games I enjoyed into Duke's neighbourhood. Along the way I kinda lost that focus and did other things... But now I've brought it back to where I originally wanted it. With all these game characters living in the same building as Duke, it'll make it easier to get them into the stories :)

Original released 04 February 2006 The return of Sam Swashbuckler to the world of Strife, after first appearing in it ages ago after winning a contest. He took some new shots of himself for me a while back, without knowing what exactly I'd do with them... here you are :) If you look very carefully you'll see Commander Keen turn up in this episode and do something, plus Mario is visible in one of the frames... Oh and, if you look even more carefully, you'll see that this episode does have something from Bio-Menace in it. Here's some bonus behind the scenes footage of me working on this episode, this is just like a fancy DVD or something This will be the last episode made with my faithful Hercules 17" LCD display, as the next episodes will be produced using my brand spanking new 20" widescreen Dell LCD monitor! *clap clap clap* You can also see my 5.1 headphones on my desktop, as recommended by my brother (Thanks!) The edge of the green box next to the headphones is Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory for the X-Box, which I picked up dirt cheap (10). I'm still playing through Jade Empire, so it'll have to wait.
