Casual Fishing RP Event When: Friday, May 3rd, 7pm EST (Ingame reset| Runtime 3-4 hours) Location: Starting at Seitung Province WP and then making way to Cat Island POI on boat/skimmer/really fast swimming

Bring your boats, water transports, skimmers or strong arms and a healthy apetite for a casual fishing and grilling gathering - Bring friends to enjoy a nice date on the water with fresh food or just enjoy the chit chat - Maybe we will catch a leviathan on the way too!

the fifth expac teaser being back in what looks like central tyria has me thinking about the commander coming back from their wizard shenanigans/Nayos, back to their old companions --- and for the commander, it feels like not much has changed all in all (sure, they're a little more tired and have a few more scars but what else is new), so they try and slot themself back into their old routine

except to their friends, it's very much not the same commander. They walk different, talk different, have a wild look in their eye. There's yet another strange power that emanates off of them, and this is not the familiarity of dragon magic or ley energy.

The commander that disappeared into the unknown is not the commander that came back

most of my characters differ in my art from their in-game model, but my most off-model character has got to be Glaw

their outfit remains relatively faithful to their in-game appearance; it's the hairstyle and build/body frame that I really change up in my art -- mostly because gw2 does not cater to my tastes accurately in either of those regards. Their canon scars are completely off-model, too

my little freak of nature themselves…. i generally draw iovitus with a more narrow face, and their horns are a little different. of course they have the big old ears but i draw them with pointed tips (like a bobcat or caracal) and they have a notch in their left upper ear… i don’t really know why i started drawing them with these things but they slowly have become more and more scrunglified as time goes on. you’d never believe this guy is a convicted war criminal …. but that’s kind of the point i suppose. oh and of course how could i forget the whiskers! i draw all charr with whiskers because i just love big war kitty cats! you can’t really see it in this image, but i also shrink them down and make them even more scrawny than they are in-game, since iovitus is supposed to be a little shrimpy guy. they also have lots of earrings and jewelry they wear on occasion, most of it being hand-crafted or bought secondhand, but unfortunately the guild wars gods don’t want their playerbase to have fun so there’s basically no jewelry accessories :(….

I've got a lot of characters who I haven't really done much which who I would probably say are ace, but these three are the ones who I have sat down and fleshed them out enough to confidently say that

From left to right, there's Sari Ruinweld, Caspian Primrose, and Helter Skelter.

Sari is one of my oldest toons and is asexual (currently in a poly relationship with Rook, my old commander). She is completely sex averse but enjoys the romantic side of things greatly

Caspian is demi; he's a holo-actor/stage actor, so he's fine with on-screen relationships, both romantic and sexual in nature, but in his personal life, it takes him a long time to get comfortable with a partner

Helter Skelter is aro ace. She's one of my newer toons, being an Astral Ward member. She's not completely averse to either romantic or sexual relationships, but it's not something she's ever had an interest in or cares to pursue

I know everyone's got their easy builds or their high DPS/alac/quickness builds or whatever but what are some builds that are just fun? Still viable of course but genuinely fun and fluid to play with

#its one of the reasons i have trouble changing from necro or ele and trying other classes #because necro is genuinely fun to me without having a backbreaking rotation #and ele is challenging enough that it stimulates my brain #even if its shit compared to other possible classes and builds
