A pair of hands just grabbed on to his arm and even though he couldn’t see, Stiles looked down. His right hand just reached up to grab her hands from his arms. Holding them, Stiles just pulled her a bit closer. In this quiet house, he could hear her breathing and it didn’t exactly sound good. “Okay, let’s find a way out,” he said, moving with her. Never letting go the entire time. His free hand extended out just making sure he didn’t hit anything. When his finger tips touched  what felt like a door frame, he stepped out. Hearing a bang, Stiles just told her “Not yet..hold on..were almost,” moving further. As soon as they stepped out of the building, Stiles just checked her shoulder. “Is it hurt?” he asked, worried.

She flinched the moment his hands made contact with her, but the second they came to rest on her shoulders she grabbed onto his arms, not wanting to lose him. She couldn’t be alone in a dark place, especially one she’d never been in before. She started to panic as he held her, shaky breaths speeding up as they stood still.

“Yeah, lets go. We need to go.” She nodded, slowly letting go of him and turning around, trying to make her way through the dark. There was a small thud as she banged into the door way with her shoulder, but it didn’t slow her down for long and within a few seconds she was moving again. “We’re almost out, right? We gotta be almost out.”

Alexis had woken up early and had taken all of ten minutes to be completely bored out of her mind, and of course, if she was bored then waking Stiles was the first and most logical option.

“You shouldn’t leave a chimera to get bored either. I might end up accidentally turning and flapping my wings and destroying any chance you have at sleep.”

He just laughed at her response as he opened his eyes. Looking up at her, Stiles just slowly sat up. Resting back against the head board to only yawn. “That’s cruel,” he said, gently nudging her but now that he was awake, Stiles just pushed the sheets aside. “You know you could have watched Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back .”

If there was one thing that scared Alexis more than anything else it was the dark. She could handle the dark when it came to sleeping, it’s not like she has a nightlight, but if she’s in a building and the lights go out, leaving things pitch black… Well that was a different story. 

They’d been investigating a small building on the edge of town, it still had power though no one lived there. It was the middle of the day, but when the light went out it was pitch black. “Stiles?” Alexis whispered urgently. Slowly she backed up into the wall, worry and fear overwhelming her. “Stiles are you there?”

Investigating a small building probably wasn’t the best idea. When the lights went off, Stiles just grumbled and cursed a bit as he tried to find his way back. Stumbling over some stuff, Stiles was so close to tripping. Sticking his feet out and his hands extending, Stiles made sure he didn’t hit a wall or any other object.  Hearing Alexis call out to him, Stiles only moved forward. “I’m here Alexis,” he called out to her, it was like trying to walk blindfolded. His hands just reached out to only rest on what felt like her face. “My bad,” he apologized, as he  moved his hands down to only rest both on her shoulders. “Maybe we should come back when it’s not pitch dark?” he suggested.
