⚠️ Hey everyone! I'd appreciate your attention please!
For any of those who have twitter, I've made a callout on someone under @/k3v0nica_, who has been stalking me, her friends have called me a slur, she sent her friends to spy on me, and now she's making a doc about me. Plus she's claiming I'm "friends with a groomer", I'd appreciate your time to boost and read this twitter thread of mine! Thanks :)
Dude… give me the bottle (when you lost a rhyming contest against the supernatural skeletal horse)
I found out about Mari Lwyd a couple of years ago - and I fell in love with the concept. Here are some of my Lwyd arts I drew during this time
The most recent art is here
that one template thing. except i didnt want to draw a fanon design (mainly because they vary so widely. there isnt really a singular set one), so i drew some of my friends designs instead.
Although the Gaza Strip has been substantially destroyed, Hamas has yet to be significantly degraded, and the Israeli army has yet to kill more Hamas commanders than United Nations staff.
A poorly made picture with my interpretation of what if Anteros was in Lore Olympus. BUT! More importantly…
Warning for swearing:
RS what the fuck!
Why make Persephone’s “Gay but not gay” best friend terrible. Like why did Persephone have to get drugged? Why did Eros have to be the one to drug her? Why was he so fucking creepy about it? Why did Persephone just forgave him and became besties with him? Why did no one question the fucking donuts? Why RS? WHY? Not only that but he dumped his problems with Psyche on Artemis and Persephone? I overlooked this a bit when I first read LO, but since I’m rereading it, eh… (-_-)
I know this isn’t all of what Eros did and what Eros did is bad but there is characters that have done worse. I’m mainly bringing up how uncomfortable and odd that choice was. I feel like there was a better way to introduce Eros. Also there is more to talk about Eros outside of this, because I forget Eros exist more often then I like to admit.
So Expect a Sequel to this post I guess.
Idk I’m getting myself a some brownies and water to treat myself before I do anything else.
Melissa Barrera has some big cojones and I cannot stress to you how proud I feel about her. I am so angry this had to be this way, and I will be angry for a while (and it's valid to be). But I am happy to know she stood her ground and didn't treat her support like a trend. She put her money where her mouth is and sacrificed upcoming projects in the face of possible blacklisting -- as a Latina woman in Hollywood this is a HUGE DEAL.
Above all, I need to remind everyone that this isn't just about Melissa Barrera and her possible blacklisting. This is setting a horrifying precedent for many actors and workers in Hollywood as a whole, a silent threat that will loom atop of them during the entire conflict and it's something we must fight. Their public support means their livelihood will be jeopardized and their reputation will be destroyed if they see fit by the media. However, I don't think they expected the responses the audience has given, even the casual Scream viewers showed up on twitter to talk about it. This isn't something they are gonna live down and we must NOT LET THEM.
They are already starting to paint her as the villain, but she will not be. We know what is happening and what this represents and we better keep shaking the table. Keep talking about it, keep putting pressure on the topic, for Melissa and god knows how many other actors being quietly blacklisted.
