I really do want to thank all of you who have reached out with messages of support and love, just checking in on me to see if I’m ok. I’ve struggled with knowing what to say, because even though I’ve shared a lot of my life on social media, there is a huge amount of stuff that happens behind closed doors that I prefer not to share with you all. So many people have asked “Where have you been?”, “are you ok?”, “What’s going on?”, “I’m worried about you.” I truly do appreciate how much you all care about me, and I do know that it comes from a place of genuine care and concern (at least for the most part, I’m sure there are people who barely know me who are just curious). I went an entire year vlogging every single day, sharing my whole life with the public, and I loved doing it. But this year, tragedy in my life struck, I lost pretty much the most important person in my life, and when that happens, it changes you. I truly do believe that God can use your story to become a testimony of His goodness and His grace, and that our stories can change other people’s lives. I hope my story can one day do that, but for that to happen I think I have to get a little further on my journey. So am I ok? Yes. I am ok, I am safe, and I am supported. Are things easy? No. This is probably the most challenging season of my entire life, and every day is a struggle, and every day I know I have to stand back up and try again. But sometimes that’s life, and sometimes that’s living a life God’s called you to- get back up and keep running because Jesus is running right along side me, and my time is coming. And so is yours! It’s not always easy to lift your hands and praise God for what He’s doing, when you don’t really understand it to begin with. But you don’t have to understand- you just have to do it and hold onto truth. I do hope one day I am brave enough to stand up and say “Look at what God did! He pulled me out and gave me new life.” And I want to explain my story. But my story is still being written right now, so I need to focus on writing it well, so when I do share it, there’s something worth sharing. I just want God to use me, even when I’m broken.
