This year has been one of the most refining years I’ve had in a while. It’s been hard. So hard. Trying to learn how to let go but also cling to Jesus at the same time has been a journey. Learning that I don’t need to be perfect but also inviting Him into the imperfect person that I am. Learning to receive and to not compare. From trying to discipline myself but also not put too much pressure on trying to meet unrealistic expectations. I’m in the middle. I don’t know what I’m doing to be completely honest. But I constantly find myself asking God to reveal His purpose and meet me here in the middle. In the mess. In the confusion and the anxiety. The insecurity and the doubt. The temptations and the sin. All of it. Because at the end of the day, even though I don’t know where I’ll be or how this journey will turn out at the end of the year, I know my God is holding me. God, I surrender my life to you. I can’t do this on my own. Here I am. I give you all of me.

God is good when your heart hurts; when the questions are heavy; when you don’t understand; when the answer feels like it’s never going to come. His goodness is not based on your circumstances but on the unchanging character of who He is. you can lean on His steadfast love and care for you. know that even when your world is seemingly spinning out of control, you can rest in this unchanging truth: God is good, and He is still good even when life is not. He is bigger than all things, He is holding every moment of your life in His hands, and He will always glorify His Name in your circumstance.
