Oh boy…. Well… I’m still alive, just busy with school and such. I’m a junior in college so I’m juggling a lot rn.

I haven’t updated this blog in so long because… I kinda fell out of love with it. I have a Rise of the tmnt blog that’s a bit dead too but I actually still really like it a lot. It just is what it is sadly..

Although I can’t show you what Turtle is doing, I still draw him a lot as I love his design, so here! A gift!

It’s weird seeing so many Wof human AU ask blogs now. Not saying that’s a bad thing I’m just surprised. If anything it’s just a reminder that I haven’t put out a thing for mine in a bit. But school is school and it’s a struggle. But I will do my best to make sure each post is worth the wait!

I don’t know if this would spoil anything but how does what is the magic system in this au?

Vary good question! Although yet there is some spoilers to the answer, I will share what information I can! Hopefully to maybe make it a bit less confusing!

Mind reading/ future vision:

-source of how one obtains this power is lost to time as it has not been recorded for centuries

-visions come and go, are also no longer recorded

-fundamental unchanged from the original book series

Witchcraft (not based in real world forms of such):

-a form of natural magic that can be learned through reading and practice

-is limited by the power of ingredients used and experience of the witch

-is not good or bad, it all depends on the user and purpose

-can be made more powerful with the help of outside magical energy

Fey and elemental/emotional magic:

-less magic and more of a form of fey

-can leach off the emotional turmoil of humans and in rare cases, other supernatural entities 

-can turn those with hardship into fey, or even control other fey if strong enough

-will have a root in a aspect of nature (stone, ice, animals, plants, air etc)

-fey can take many forms and can be indistinguishable from humans

-are different from Animus magic as they are not used in order to fill a task, they exist in reaction to emotions in their environment

-will be more abundant in areas with more magic (aka, if a witch is present or a source of powerful energy)

Animus magic:

-a root form of magic 

-is relatively unchanged from original book series

- a powerful source of magic energy

-has the ability to make other forms of magic stronger

Hope this helps! It gets into things waaaay down the line but all will be revealed eventually, I would love if you all have theories and you can bet I may have answers to them in the comics as we get more into the story!

Ok so we got a banner! So let’s get the basic story down! Moonwatcher is a witch in training and Darkstalker is her familiar. Moon being a new girl to a new school is already stressful, but when you also have to practically babysit one of the most powerful Oni in existence and fight monsters on the side, it’s a bit much. We’ll have an introduction chapter and wherever the story goes is dependent on your questions, so feel free to ask. I hope this project doesn’t crash and burn

WERE DOING A REBOOT!!

Ok so after a lot of thinking we’re doing a reboot with a story that should be a lot more interesting. It’s a Urban fantasy and allows for a lot more interesting things and questions, so slice of life stuff and action things. Moonwatcher is a witch in training and Darkstalker is a demon that’s bound to her. It should be fun. I’ll be working on changing up the blog a bit, not deleting anything but just changing the look

Oh goodness gracious this has been here for so long...... hello I am here...I’m not dead thankfully and yes I know this blog still exists. And well.... I can definitely say I’m a much different person from the one that started this project. I’m in college now, I got glasses, I am constantly tired....and yeah.

What does this all mean? Well it means that how I view this AU has changed and it’s hard to keep going with how I had things planned out. I had story points to get to, questions to answer...but I haven’t done anything here in so long I lost most of the asks that people sent me. And I’m honestly really sorry. Do I wanna continue this?...yeah kinda. I miss having a way to share this stuff but I don’t have time. I don’t know if I should reboot this or not or just leave it be. It’s a hard decision but I’ll find out what to do eventually. I haven’t forgot just....changed

A MESSAGE ABOUT THE BLOG

Hi everyone, it’s your local idiot here with something to say. I wanna say I’m sorry for not posting more responses and having the drawings I do make feel..... anticlimactic to say the least. I do still wanna answer question as I have had this story in my head for a long time now. As you can see it’s not exactly fallowing the canon (and let’s face it it never will) but I wanted to make something with this. School is coming up and with everything for that and having a job and still needing to help around the house.....it’s hard to be motivated to draw for this

Now this doesn’t mean I’m not doing this anymore, all it means is that I won’t be able to do it as much as before. There are questions that I won’t be able to answer and there are questions I’m dying to answer, it all comes down to what I’m capable of doing. But I do love the support and thank all of you for being interested in this and enjoying what I make, I’m not gone just busy
