Man, what was up with that, me saying anything would be visually consistent? Most bosses' weak points will have to be different Objects so they might as well have different Sprites too, with a consistent red/orange/pink colors so you can usually tell where to aim. Some sticking out of their surface, some as projectiles you have to catch, some orbiting their heads or something, &c. &c.

Going back to some early concept art I'm working on including a segment where the player is caught between two big invulnerable bosses playing Pong Non-Specific Ball-Bouncing Paddle Game with a big spike ball or something, which has been a great use for some of the oddly-shaped art I've found.
