"It's a game night on Pasio! Watch the UNOvan big shots take on each other in the card game number one!"
Turn up the fancy factor with some delightful electro swing music~ Would you like to join them for a round or a dozen?
Drew these both in August 2022, only finished rendering the 2nd piece today ahah! Relieved to finally get this WIP out of my system!! It's been sitting there since August 2022; it was difficult to juggle the composition, colors & a zillion effects again but I'm happy enough with the result now!
Epic UNO videos for inspiration below the cut!
What a lovely farmhouse in Livingston, Texas. It was built in 1950 and is for sale for $299K. If you dream of a cozy house w/a white picket fence, you’ll love it.
Anti’s need to take a moment to realize that the internet is not a safe space. It never has been, and it never will be. It was not created with the intent of being a safe space in the first place.
The internet is home to all things - the good, the bad, and the ugly.
There is no way to make the internet truly safe. That is because of the overwhelming amount of content that it holds. Nothing is sacred. If you truly think that the internet should be a pure safe space for all, you are living in a delusion - I’m sorry to say.
Nothing anyone says or does can make the internet safe for all. However - you can curate you own online experience! If you see things you don’t like, then you have the ability to block people! You also have the ability to not search for things that make you uncomfortable ( which is apparently an extremally foreign concept for some antis ). Another thing you have the power to do on certain sites is to block tags and words so that you won’t see posts with said tags / words!
The internet isn’t safe, but there are many ways to make your internet experience more enjoyable.
Harassing people when they like something that you personally don’t is never the answer and will never accomplish anything.
(image id: a pic of a splatoon 3 inkling with a drawn post that's formatted as a letter to mario from peach. It has Mario's new, cheekless backside drawn to the left of the letter, with Princess Peach to the right, and the letter reads "Dear Mario: Please come to the castle. I've baked a cake for you since you don't have any. Yours truly -- Princess Toadstool Peach". Peach looks to be signed as a signature)
This little 1852 church in Cobleskill, New York is waiting to be converted to a home, and is only $85,000. The interior is currently a glove museum and it’s gorgeous- so much potential.
The entrance hall is beautiful, isn’t it?
Actually, the museum setup is lovely. You can see how beautiful the ceiling is, and lovely stained glass windows.
So much potential- the chancel would make a great kitchen.
The area in the chancel is certainly large enough for a nice kitchen.
This would be the view from the “kitchen.”
Look at the 3 arches in the back.
The pews are still here and used for display purposes. It appears that the doors on the left open to another room.
You can see that the doors open to this room, behind the display cases and ladder. I would imagine that all the display pieces belong to the museum.
If this church looks so beautiful as a glove museum, think of how great it would look as a home, as long as they don’t modernize it into a soulless gray space.
Stone stairs in Šibenik, Croatia. Pretty at first, but so steep you need a rope to pull yourself up. It doesn’t look like the flat slabs are secured, either.
“Converted” Dr.’s office for sale in Berlin Heights, Ohio for $315K. You get ample parking, plus a handicap space. I don’t know if someone did a bad conversion, or if they tried to stage it to look like a home, but it’s listed as a single family residence, not an office. Look at this:
The first thing we see is a glass foyer, hydraulic self-closing doors, lighted exit sign, drop ceiling w/neon lights throughout and an indoor/outdoor carpet.
The waiting room, complete w/a large reception window, is staged as a combination living/dining room. Notice the brochures fanned out on the coffee table, Dr.’s office style.
The property lists 5 bds. This is the main bd., looking completely idiotic.
Each bd. is equipped with cabinets, a sink, subtly checkered linoleum and a writing table.
The office, of course, would make a roomy home office or home schooling space.
Next to the office is a workroom/lab with 2 sinks. Maybe this could be a craft space.
This is staged as the kitchen, but there is no damned kitchen. It was the staff break room. All you have in here is a sink.
It lists 2 baths, but there are no bathing facilities, just 2 restrooms. Ooh, look- a folding diaper changing table.
The realty has included one of these handy confusing 3D layouts of the “home.”
This one’s a little clearer- you can see the bds. 2 bathrooms, etc. It would take a lot of reno to turn this into a house.
The only redeeming quality is that it has a geo-thermal heating system- these are great and cost between $18,000 - $30,000 to install in a single family home. (Is that a weather balloon floating above?)
