poetry, i have been told, is for intelligent people.

for those in the academic world, that thrive on authenticity and sense of being.

a common person wouldn’t be able to understand the depth of a poem, so he should stay away.

poetry, i have read, is for the minority.

only a few know exactly how it is done. the chosen ones.

no matter how good you want to be, you will never be.

comes from talent. comes from blood.

poetry, i concluded, is a feeling.

or feelings, if you’re daring.

it can be easily understood and be practiced by those that have the capacity to feel.

why are people fighting on twt about who’s more important for bts? like making so many posts about how bts wouldn’t be anywhere without Jk, is a bit absurd don’t yall think??

genuinely some of these fans have problems. BTS wouldn’t be bts without any of them. Each of them contributed to the project, and worked to achieve this great harmony that the members have.

Fighting for who would be more successful without bts is also as stupid. And pointless. Because as we all have seen this week, if the majority of you wanted to stream and support each member, they all would be equals in streaming and wins and so on. But you lot are so freaking picky, you only stream when it is convenient for you.

So yea, Jk had more international success bc that was his goal with this album. The other members made their albums having different goals or expectations in mind. No one forces anyone to stream something you don’t like; music is there in order for you to enjoy it and im sure bts wants the same thing; but don’t come forward saying jk would do great without bts or that bts needed jk to be this great, because thats simply not true.

bts is a project that is as successful as it is today bc of all the boys work. all of them worked hard for this. And besides their obvious talent, bts work hard to maintain their group environment and make it a safe place for each other. they have chemistry which helps them grow and work together. It’s not only their talent that sustains bts work, but their off camera bond.

lastly, we all have seen this past year that they can release solo albums. they can be successful on their own, in their niche or globally. i don’t think its our right to judge what they chose to do. but at the end of the day, they chose bts. they chose to be together. they chose to do ms within the same time period for them to be together and do group activities after.

they themselves chose bts. so as much yall “fans”whine about your fav ruining their career for not going solo, respect your fav’s decision for wanting to be with bts. thats the least you can do.

"It seems to be a clear message that BTS’ success has come at the expense of their personal happiness to some extent." This all did come at great expense to them, Tae in particular has been the most open and honest about it and articulated this several different ways. When he said he actually considered getting hurt so he could have a day of rest, I couldn't believe I didn't hear a record scratch and the whole fandom realize how fucked up that is. His letter when they announced the group hiatus talked about how much he'd sacrificed for the team, but then the stocks took a dive and they sent Namjoon out to be the cheerleader and be dismissive about the whole thing. Tae's letter was mostly ignored after that, and fans that acknowledged it was still actually a hiatus from group activities were used as punching bags for even suggesting it. Even though it was what BTS themselves said. This is why when I see the 2025 reunion at all costs crowd talking like they're going to come out of the military and go directly back into the same practice/recording/tour schedule and being excited about that my whole body cringes, because ain't no way you hope for this and actually care about them. In a personal relationship if you're sacrificing so much for another who just takes and takes and takes while you suffer the loss of yourself, your dreams, your comfort, your health it's clear that relationship is toxic and abusive. That's a major dark side of this position they've found themselves in that people really need to think about and right now is a great time to do that instead of just waiting for them to return and fill the holes in their lives. This fandom was destined to eat itself and I see it every day now. Some people still think it's one fandom carrying the streams/sales because they refuse to accept that they're all officially solo artists now. Resentment is sown for members who are more popular because they think the fandom is prioritizing them instead of them having fans of their own and the success belonging to them as an individual. New fans drawn to one member's solo work are dogpiled and told they have to support all seven or none. Solo fans, which is an entirely valid thing to be, are told that member only acknowledges ARMY and hates them. This is a toxic and abusive relationship. A smothering one.
