south park review season 46 episode 63 review "Gay wedding"
Hello welcole back to south park reviews where you should not check the date this what uploaded
So today we are reviewing the last episode of south park ever so this is the end of the series i guess but don't worry with the episode having a run time of 48 houres we have a lot to talk about
First of all after all this time kenny and butters (the 2 main characters of the show after cartman died in car accident and stan and kyle dissapeared for no reason without ever being mentioned again) are finally getting marryed. This is shocking nobody expect this unless you read the name of the episode in which case the reveal that has 16 houres of build up will be meaingless now you could say this is a flaw but its in fact one of the best deceions by current show runner trey parker jr since you are gonna be so tired after 16 houres you probably forgot the name of the epsiode.
Well after all of that the wedding finally starts and something happens after 13 seasons stan and kyle return to the show it turns out they where just in a really long sidequest trying to get cartman back to life but it failed so they just wherent here for 13 years for no reason.
Now here since this is the last episode all your favorite character make a cameo including weed guy (not randy just weed guy) minecraft steve, the guy from that one episode people liked, bryan griffin, the car the runned over cartman and lebron james.
After they get marryed they tell stan and kyle that there is one way they think they can bring cartman back. They must travel back in time to the first episode of season 35 to get the car of the road. Thats right they must travel back in time to the first episode of season 35 to get the car of the road
So after they start traveling back in time to the first episode of season 35 to get the car of the road. They finally arrive and there they get the car off the road (this took another 12 houres to happen) and finally after saving cartman they walk up to him but when they get close cartman notices them and says "haha i killed myself so you guys would travel back in time to save me haha screw you guys you suck" after this another car passes by and runs over kenny killing him
The episode just ends there
Grade: AAA (the battery)
Kenny death grade: Ñ
(Actual review coming back soon probably)

i remember adults telling me, as a kid, to listen to doctors and get my flu vaccine and any shots i could because they remembered Before.
then they started fighting Covid precautions.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that the ozone was disappearing and the earth was dying and we needed to recycle and save the planet.
now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.
you can guess who they voted for.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, so very much.
when did they forget?

Beautopia Review
Susan Strong returns, and the show recognizes how significant her reintroduction is to Finn and the audience by staging her appearance at the Treehouse as grand and important. Jake is distrusting of Susan, bringing up the events of her first episode, while Finn still holds on to the hope that Susan is human. Susan herself has developed, now speaking slightly more fluent English. We can already infer that the Hyoomans are mutated descendants of humans who sought shelter during the Mushroom War. We learn in this episode that those humans didn’t just live in a dirty sewer. They built an underground civilization called Beautopia. Beautopia, just like the humans led by Two Bread Tom and Hugo, shows its in humans’ nature to rebuild. Beautopia is even an island civilization of sorts. Unlike the islands and The Drift, Beautopia’s society was abandoned presumably hundreds of years ago. Susan has attempted freeing Beautopia from the Lub Glubs before, but meeting Finn has reignited her hope of restarting the civilization.
Jake’s prejudice towards the Hyoomans is on full display. He scares them with his shapeshifting for his amusement, building on his desire to rule them like “angry gods” in “Susan Strong”. Susan almost drowning Finn works great as a reminder that Finn and Susan are not exactly the same. The episode really plays up the awkwardness between their relationship. Finn and Susan do feel a connection to each other and they want to be in each other's lives, but their lack of understanding of what the other person is keeps getting in the way. This scene and Susan’s surprise of Finn’s lack of gills is a wake up call for Finn at how different they are. Finn must be disappointed and starts to believe that she probably is a fish person. However, he still feels a connection to her. That and his heroic nature makes him determined to still help and trust Susan and defend her from Jake’s insults. In actuality, Susan’s surprise is that he is like her. Finn takes his hat off here and his hair has continued to grow back since “Mortal Folly”.
Finn, Jake, and Susan take a boat to Beautopia, a precursor to the Islands crew (minus BMO). We get a string of great Jake moments including a very catchy sea shanty. Jake’s smug reaction to Susan’s terror over a pool floaty is hilarious, and him struggling to breathe while being used as a paddle is even funnier. Another pool floaty coming out after an ominous buildup with horror movie music is also very funny. The true forms of the Lub Glubs have a very creepy design. The implication that they have existed for hundreds of years leads me to believe they were mutated from nuclear residue, eventually pushing out the humans. One of them chews on a human skull with a bunny hat, leading to many wild fan theories connecting it to Fionna.
Jake and Susan complete their arcs in this episode with Jake finally trusting in Susan and Finn once again inspiring Susan to overcome her fears. Finn tells Susan that humans and hyoomans have to stick together, staying consistent with Finn’s lesson in “Susan Strong” that everyone is the same or “wild animals”. Jake delaying throwing in the lantern is yet another hilarious moment. One of the Lub Glubs reminds Jake of his mother, like how a drawing of one reminded him of his father. Many interpret this as a subconscious memory of Warren Ampersand. It could be, but I don’t think the resemblance is quite strong enough.
The episode ends on a fantastic, quiet moment. Finn and Susan have yet another awkward moment, with Finn refusing to stay. Susan puts Finn’s hand under her hat, resulting in the two finally understanding each other. The episode does not confirm if Finn’s reaction was to him feeling gills or not. However, I think it can only be read as Finn realizing Susan is human, even without the context of later episodes. Susan puts Finn’s hand there as a response to Finn telling her he isn’t like her. Finn’s surprise only works if she is human because Finn was already convinced Susan was a hyooman. I like the reveal being more subtle and the show’s restraint at only giving us a tiny piece of the puzzle.
The dynamic of Finn, Jake, and Susan makes for a great episode with lots of nuanced interaction full of heart, tension, and hilarity. It makes for a worthy followup to one of season two’s best episodes.

From Bad to Worse Review
“From Bad to Worse” is a sequel to the first episode, and also borrows zombie apocalypse tropes. It may not be the most unique episode, but it's still enjoyable. This isn’t a retread of the series first episode, as this focuses on the zombie chase itself. I actually think this would have worked better as a direct continuation of “Slumber Party Panic”. Allowing the zombies to stay uncured at the end of the first episode and leading into a part two would have gotten rid of the very dumb and canonbreaking climax in “Slumber Party Panic”. Still, Cinnamon Bun eating the sample of zombie flesh is a funny catalyst.
In addition to Finn and Jake, LSP and Lady Rainicorn get to tag along for the story, providing some extra good moments. The worst part of the episode is the 45 second sequence of the four mixing chemicals in the same way multiple times. It’s not terrible, but why not make the antidote mixing more zany? Especially to tie into the wacky results of the antidotes. However, I do like the sequence of using the antiserum. Starchy getting snatched by a now winged zombie is funny. Always nice to see him pop in for a gag. LSP licking her antidote up for the luscious lips is also amusing. I like how the antidotes, including Jake and Lady’s, backfire and make the candy zombies stronger.
Jake stretching to keep the zombification from spreading is one of the most clever uses of his powers so far, and adds some great suspense and urgency. I love Finn reassuring himself. He’s clearly distraught over losing Jake (Jake death foreshadowing). We know how devastating the thought is for him (“Mystery Train”, “The New Frontier”). Finn forces those feelings down to focus on the task at hand. Even the usually much more mature Lady Rainicorn can’t do this, freeing Jake. Finn is left alone and his acceptance of failure is a big moment for such a relentless character.
Science the Rat works fine enough as a resolution. It was adequately foreshadowed. They didn’t let us forget about that rat. Jake being cured and immediately turned again is a hilariously fucked up moment that presents an interesting conundrum. Finn covering himself in the antidote is very clever but probably should have injured him more. Seems that the antidote heals the zombie bites. Lady tells Jake that she loves being bitten by him (new zombie kink unlocked?). PB telling Finn to move out of the way is a funny way to end the episode, even if it doesn’t make sense for her to say that in such a celebratory tone.

Bonus review #1 the spirit of chirstmas jesus vs frosty
welcome to every episode of south park reviewed where this isn't even an episode of south park
The spirit of chirstmas is a short by Matt Stone and Trey Parker which ended up going viral not on the internet but with vhs colectors which then cause the CEO of fox of all people to comission a second short from them but not to air on fox but to send it to his friend one of which upload it to the internet where it ended up going viral (atleast viral for the time) so they propose to Fox to make an actual show which almost happend but they got canceld for having a characters thats a living piece of shit (they where defently talking about mr Hanky but its funnyer to think they meant Cartman) so they proposed the show to Comedy Central who almost didn't pick it up multiple times but then they ended up making it which then spawned 26 seasons, 6 specials, a movie, like over 10 games but most importantly it got Matt and Trey free Nintendo Wiis when they made an epiosde on them.
What was i talking about again oh yeah the spirit of chirstmas its alright i guess there a kid name Kenny who dies but he look like Cartman and there an unamed kid who looks like kenny and also dies so which death am i ranking? No clue
The plot is very basic the kids putted hat on snowman which makes it come to life and i kills 2 of them and then Stan and Kyle try not to get killed so they call up there good buddy jesus who kills the snowman
The only real note worthy fact about it besids being responsable for SP is the super rough animation which is so charming it makes what would be a very boring bit if it was animatead like an actual episode of the show and gives it so much personality
There relly isn't much more to say its like 3 minutes long
Rating: nothing (impossible to compare with an episode of the show)
Kenny death rating: i don't even know what i am sopused to be rankng here but they both die very simarly and its not that intersting so C- i guess
I will probably review the second short after season 1 but for now i will go back to regularly schedual episode reviews but expect them less offen i don't know how offen but defently not 1 every day

south park season 1 episode 4 review: Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride
Welcome to every episode of south park reviewed where the other day I played a game where you can select the colors of your character picked the bisexual flag colors and didn't even realise until a friend brough it up
"Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride" or "BGABGBR" is an episode in which Stan take the rol of a parent who in the beginning is in denial of there childs sexuality and after that tryes to convert them into hetorosexuality, of course Stan doesn't have a child at the age of 9 instead this rol is filled by Stan's gay dog Sparky. I like how thourght the episode you can tell thats Stan doesn't really understand why his dog being gay is even that big of deal but only tryes to change it beacuse everyone else says its a bad thing. including mr Garrison who is the most homophobic character in the entire episode which is halarious beacuse would later know that he is gay in fact at the time of writting this the newest non special episode of the entire show is cenetered around one of his gay relationships.
Before we continue with that I would like to say that for the first time in the series history both plots are actually funny i won't be talking about the american football plot much since i think its more boring to talk about but stuff like jimbo and ned trying to plat a bomb in the other teams mascot is really funny and also a great use of characters I felt where quite boring in "volcano" or the joke of pip not being allowed to use helmet is probably the only funny thing they ever do with pip as character so thats nice
Well after a while of Stan trying to turn Sparky straight including stuff like trying to get him a girlfriend which he refuses Sparky runs away into Big Gay Al's Gay Animal Sanctuary (how many more of this big ass names do i need to type) where he disapears for a whole 2 days after which Stan decies not to go ot the football game in favor of looking for Sparky, after awhile of looking Stan finds the animal sanctuary where he meets big gay Al and he takes him on the titular big gay boat ride where he tells Stan about the history of gay people, now I made it clear I really like this episode but I do have a critic I feel like big gay al as a character is way to much of stereotype which is weird fot such a pro gay episode i can totally see someone around this time thinking "gay people exsist and thats cool but they look and act that way" which obviously isn't the case and honestly I don't think I would care this much about this if it was like a 1 off character but no he shows up a again couple of times in fact i can imagen a person watching a future episode he is in without seeing this one and think there making fun of gay people which obviously isn't a very good thing
Well after that Stan accept that his dog is gay then goes back to south park just in time to score a point for the football team so they don't loss by a bigger margin which everyone celebrates so he gets to give a speech where he says that gay people are cool and stuff and nobody in the towns belives him so he takes them to the sanctuary which has dissapeared but animals are still there which are all the gay pets of the south park resident which runned away (I like implacation that someone had a gay lion) big gay Al shows up to thank Stan for bring everyone here and the he enters his briefcase which then goes flying away into the unknow possibly to teach another group of individuals about gay people
I know I sounded kinda negative in the middle there but this is actually the best episode so far it made me laugh the most and while I do have some problem as I said above the pro gay message is great for its time where pretty much every other show specially animetead shows were scared to give a take on the topic (besids the simpsons but i can't really compare as I haven't seen that episode)
Also kenny dies while playing american football but its surprisingly savage like the enemie team rip his arms out and then his head off which I really liked the brutality off, the kenny deaths keep getting better and better
Rating: B+ (very close to a A-
Kenny death rating: B+
Also this will be my last daily review as I don't wanna get burned out but there is another thing going up ethier later today or tomorrow its not season 1 episode 5 but it reletead to south park and it is a review so stayed tunned

south park season 1 episode 3 volcano review
Welcome to every episode of south park reviewed where we try to figure out of if lava is wet (it isn't)
Volcano is a pretty simple episode the boys go hunting with Stans uncle Jimbo and his friend Ned who try to get Stan to hunt with them but then when he feels uncorfortable killing animals they start becoming bigger fans of Kenny who is always doing what they want so Stan becomes jealous of Kenny
Jimbo and Ned are not every intersting characters they just make the same "it was coming right at us" joke over and over again with barely any change, but this episode is the first in the entire show where Kenny plays a mayor role and if you know anything about me you know that Kenny is my favorite character in all of south park so did they get Kenny right there first time around? Yeah he is pretty good not the best portryal of Kenny but like how the things he does get more and more extreme each time and ends up doing stuff like drinking gasoline which is pretty funny, he dies by almost being hit by rock metor thing from the volcano barely avoid it just for it to fall on top of him anyways which is probably the funnyest death so far
Theres also a side plot where cartman tells a story of monster called scuzzlebutt whicg nobody belives and ends up being real which is very generic but i like how Stan shoots it to prove he is cool like Kenny just for Jimbo to be dissapointead beacuse that was the on thing he didnt have to kill beacuse it was actually being helpful.
Before i get to the conclusion and rating i have to mention the fact that this is randy's introduction episode. You can't even tell he is sopused to be Stans dad or anything and he also doesn't do much but hey its him alright
I like volcano more than i was expecting to but still not as good as last episode, season 1 has a problem so far where every episode as has a joke that gets reused over and over again which wouldn't be that big of a problem if that joke wasn't always pretty bad I wonder if that will stick through the entire season or just a very early episode thing
Rating: B-
Kenny death rating B+

south park season 1 episode 2 weight gain 4000
Hello and welcome to south park reviewed where i just figured out i can add images to reviews
So today we are talking about "weight gain 4000" which was actually the third episode to air, so why am i covering it now? Beacuse this was the second episode of SP ever written. When Cartman gets an anal prove failed to get test screens investead on the show (which I think is justified, read my previous review for more info) Comedy Central asked Matt and Trey for a second script to see how the show would work on a different scenario. But they played an ultimatum "we are only animating this or writting another one if you buy an order of atleast 6 episodes" and since CC was an up and coming channel which didn't really have there break through show yet, they took the gamble. Why did they order 13 episode instead of 6 Matt and Trey asked for? No clue but very cool of you CC i guess.
"Weight gain 4000" has 2 different plot lines: Cartman getting progressibly fatter as the episode goes along to accept an award from Kathie Lee Gifford while the other one sees Garryson trying to kill Kathie Lee Gifford beacuse he lost a talent show to her when they where kids. btw he was already balding as a child which is funny as fuck.
Tumblr media
Before I get to talking about the plot lines I just wanted to make a small remark that celebrity in this episode is very interchengable like pretty much any celebritie would had worked in the place of her in fact even a complely original character could had gotten the work done it isn't like a crazy big deal or anything just a thought I had
Something i really like in this episode is that it set a standar on how SP treats its A and B plots, a lot of other shows have there plots be ethier complely unreltead or very loosely tied while in SP most of the time plots ethier complely depend of each other or are tied up by similar themes, this episode being a great exsample of the former as if cartman didn't cheat on its test Gifford wouln't had come to south park and garrison wouldn't had tryed to kill her.
I am sounding very postive of this episode but there is one problem:the Cartman plot is very boring its basically just the same joke over and over again its just Cartman gets fatter someone tells him he is not getting stronger just fatter he yells beefcake and doesn't listen to them which in vacuum its a fine joke but its the same joke over and over again, there is however a part i do like of the Cartman stuff which is how they introduce his relationship with Wendy which is one of the best in the show, Wendy is a really boring character in the first episode basically relegated to love interst and nothing else and the Stan vomiting bit doesn't help so giving her more to do in this one like giving her a rivals type relationship with Cartman or making her the one that stop Garrison from killing Gifford is really cool and it defently payed off as i think she is defently one of the best character in the show
Kenny dies 2 times in this episode for some reason first crushed by a tent in the school play and the he gets shot what doesn't kill him but instead makes him fly into a flag pole which impales him. I don't find ethier of this that intersting but there 2 of them so that has to count for something
overall I liked this episode a lot less when i first watched it but with someone knowleag of what the show would become later I think this episode is one of the most crucial one for the south park we would know in the future to be able to exsist
Rating: B
Kenny death rating:B- (there both c individualy but there 2 of them so give it hire rating)

south park reviewed season 1 episode 1: cartman gets an anal prove
welcome to every episode of south park review where i pretend to both be a good writter and know how tumblr works.
welll i guess since its the first review you need some context.
I have not been a south park fan for super long in fact i only watched my first episode acouple of months ago just to hate it (it was this one but i getting ahead of myself) but then i decied to watch some episode from the 2 newest seasons 25 and 26 and that got me hooked on the show to the point where now its the only thing i can think about
So i decied to go through the entire series episode by episode and give my thouhts on each one maybe that way i will finally be able to to stop thinking about
Why the long intro? Well 2 reasons i felt like it was important but also i dont have much to say about this one and felt like padding out
This episode is mega boring to the point that i could barely get myself to finish it
The only part i liked was the stop montion animation which is very charming
The voices of the characters feel off,i am not really the biggest fan of the stan vomiting on wendy early runnig gag and half of the jokes are just the kids swearing, them not knowing what a dildo is or them kicking ike none of which is really that funny or intersting
finally the kenny death is actually pretty good the double fake out works pretty well as the first specially if this your first episode ever and somehow haven't heared of the gag befor and you don't think he would actually die
In conclusion cartman gets an anal prove is an episode that misses the mark on a lot of the reason people would love the show later on but honestly that fine nobody is gonna master there craft there first time around i am glad we can look back and see how much they improved since this days
Rating: C
Kenny death rating: B+
