- Chances are they are confused, feel intimidated and awkward. Help them if they are struggling or doing anything dangerous
- Be patient - they may not understand gym etiquette or the basic rules yet
- Staring, tutting, eye-rolling, all passive aggressive dick moves. Don’t, just don’t. 
This is your opportunity to show newbies how things should be done, that gym camaraderie exists, that they can get from where they are today to where you are in a year. 
Be a mentor, or at the least just be patient and kind.

You know something we don’t get taught often?  Why bodies with uteri often have a slight pouche. You wanna know why? Because the uterus leans against the outside wall of the abdominal cavity. The uterus is literally making that little pouche, the belly that we call fat all the fucking time, and that’s why it’s so fucking hard to get a absolutely flat belly! And thank fuck for having a female anatomy professor who is old enough and feminist enough to not give a damn and cheerfully tell us all the details that a male professor might have thought unimportant.  Cause fuck this society that ignores organs in order to fat-shame us.

Honestly I’m so sick of seeing rich-girl fitness. Don’t show me pretty vegan smoothies in mason jars held by a girl with perfect makeup, a manicure, and a color-coordinated running outfit. Show me diets and workouts that I can manage when I’m working 13 hours days and living on a budget. Show me how to eat healthy when I have 5 minutes for lunch. Show me small things I can do to help my body. Show me workout plans that I can do outside of a gym when I can’t afford a membership. I don’t have time. I don’t have money. Half the time I don’t have the motivation to get up in the morning. But I have a body. I want to be healthy.
