Today, a much beloved childhood actor and a genuine role model of mine, Stefan Karl, lost his two year battle to cancer. Though he said himself he loved all the memes shared and memes very well helped to give him extra time to spend with his family and friends, I wanted to share a genuine post.

Stefan, I'd like to thank you for all the laughs you've given me, both in my childhood till today and the years to come. You helped to shape my childhood. Thank you for creating a wonderful friendship with Magnus and helping to create my favorite childhood show. Thank you for showing my five year old self that staying fit and being healthy is fun and fantastic. I want to thank you for everything you've done. You've inspired so many young children, and even now, continue to inspire me and others. You did so many wonderful things in your all too short life. I wish your family the best in this terribly difficult time. Rest in peace, Stefan. You'll always be our number one.

i am so heartbroken rn. robbie rotten was one of my favourite characters when i was young… this just hits me so bad

I know I haven’t posted on this blog for a long, long time, but its time for me to say something important. Today we lost Stefan Karl, the man most famous for playing Robbie Rotten on Lazytown. I know lots of people are familiar with him whether it be the memes, or the show itself. No matter where or you discovered him, he gave a lot of us a good laugh and a way to find a relief from the struggle of daily life.

Stefan Karl was a good man. He genuinely loved entertaining children and adults alike. He was kind to everyone he met and never showed any hatred towards anyone. He also gave me and my friends all a good laugh. I remember reading about all the kind things he did for this world and its inhabitants. He truly loved everyone around him, his family, his fans, friends etc. Even though he’s gone I’m glad he’s immortalized in all the wonderful things he took part in. Thanks for everything Stefan, the world will miss you. Thank you and rest in peace sir.
