Dear compatriot @gremlinscomics pointed out to me that Josh Brenner was in 'Love Death and Robots', then immediately after, I was assigned to animate a pre-existing character to an audio and... i mean, how could I not??

Its still (obviously) super rough, but we only had a couple days to complete it, and I hath been too busy with other projects to clean it up so, heres the sketchy lad ✨️

the thing that makes all the batsiblings dynamics hilarious is the fact that they all started out as only children and then had constant shifting roles. normally when your parents have other children you have the period of pregnancy and then a baby to adjust to but with them it was just sudden

Dick went from an only child for eighteen years to an older brother and then lost that brother and then gained a bunch more siblings.

Jason went from an only child, to the youngest of two, to the second oldest.

Cass went from an only child to a shifting family dynamic of being a middle child (i don’t know her age because of how it constantly changes but it’s somewhere between Tim and Jason).

Tim went from an only child, to the youngest of two - then the youngest of three - then a middle child.

Damian was an only child and then suddenly the youngest of six.

Duke was an only child and now he’s in a family where he’s the second youngest with four older siblings.

It’s such a funny dynamic to me

(Random headcannon) if the all of the ud!turtles were ever to meet and they find out each of the adopted turtles was one of the counterparts of them, I can totally see the Bayverse!turtles initially think Leon (or whatever they name him) is Mikey’s counterpart due to the two seeming close and other Leonisms, only to be totally floored that he is actually grumpy bossy Leo’s counterpart.

I also wanted to say that I love your art and this is one of my favorite tmnt aus ever! ☺️🥰

The kid who lost it all

to get you in context with this idea of why young dark Danny… this is like a manifestation of Jazz’s connection/bond with Dan. The concept of keeping Dan’s soul as a kid worked for me to express the brutal post-traumatic events that led Phantom to become  Dark Danny. The soul with a permanent scar… when all went down. This “manifestation” is only meant for halfas (two souls connection). And it can only be felt/seen by the two-souls bonded. Let it be via dreams/meditation.Danny - Phantom;Vlad - Plasmius;Jazz - alt. Phantom

The Medium and his assistant

Amity Park was a roller coaster, but after eliminating the GIW, talking to the Fentons, and getting some sort of alliance with the ghosts, Danny felt like he didn't have much else to do. He took Ellie's advice to travel a bit, but tried to make it a little more exciting.

Although the money he had been given could last forever (and longer with Vlad's card in his pocket), he wanted to earn his own money. So he made his trip a fun job, turning part of his vehicle into a trailer. Thus was born his career as a medium and fortune teller, traveling around the world, listening to the dead, advising people, etc.

Technically, thanks to Clockwork Danny could see the future, but he doesn't need it, or at least not always. And talking to the dead was practically his day-to-day, so he thought he had chosen well.

During one of his trips, when he passed through Gotham he found a zombie (which turned out to be a halfa!), the poor thing was lost, and wandering, so he helped him and did the most sensible thing possible: he offered him a job. Jason, who hadn't been back for a long time and his memories were scrambled, decided that he needed a vacation anyway, for his own sanity (not seeing the Joker's face was a bonus) and accepted the offer. Of course, he covered his face in case someone recognized him as the son of a millionaire, Danny approved.

Both traveled around the world, offering their services and bothering a certain Constantine who complained every time they had the same client (Danny replied that it really wasn't his fault, but the British man was still upset). A year later they returned to Gotham.

The Batfam assumed that Danny's business was a scam. But Bruce was desperate, he wanted to talk with Jason, to hear about him, even if it was a scam, so he visited them. When Danny asked who he wanted to contact, Bruce replied "Jason Todd."

Danny, who knew full well the identity of his employee, raised an eyebrow and glanced surreptitiously at his assistant, who was avoiding his gaze. He sighed before continuing his 'work', glancing at Jay from time to time.

A few days later, Dick Grayson showed up with the same request, and Danny made sure to kick Jason as soon as he left.

So, due to a villainous plot, basically the entirety of the Justice League and all affiliated Heroes are stuck on the Watchtower when it is forcibly transported to a different Universe.

My idea is that an army of different Supervillains tricked every Hero they could onto the Watchtower, before using experimental technology to transport them to another Universe.

While the JL is stuck in another Universe, the Villains take this chance to take over as much of the world as possible

Meanwhile, the JL is stuck.

All of their Teleportation tech was sabotaged and/or destroyed (not that it would have been capable of transporting them across universes either way), and any magical ways of Universal Travel strong enough to transport the Entire Watchtower would require weeks of Preparation and Set-Up.

They consider sending just a few of their Heavy Hitters back alone, since the smaller level spells could be done fairly quickly, but they also know that there is a very real possibility that there is a trap waiting on the other side. They deem it too risky to try

Eventually, Constantine pipes up, “How about asking The King of the Infinite Realms?”

Zatanna replies, “Phantom? Well it could work, but we don’t have much information on him, we don’t know if he is trustworthy”

“Who is Phantom?” asks Batman

“Phantom is the King of the Infinite Realms, basically the space between Dimensions. He is also the God of Space, so he could definitely transport the entire Watchtower across Universes.”

“The Infinite Realms are also called the Ghost Zone, because it is technically one of the Afterlives you could end up in. All Souls traverse the Realms while heading to their respective Afterlives, but some stay behind and become Ectoplasmic Entities, or Ghosts”

“Why hesitate to ask him then?”

“We don’t know if he is trustworthy. The last King was named Pariah Dark, and he took advantage of his power of traversing Universes to try and conquer all of Reality.”

Eventually, they decide to summon Phantom, and he appears in the center of the Summoning Circle. He looks majestic, and his eyes are closed.

He shifts a bit, tilts forward, and falls flat on his face while snoring.

They summoned him while he was asleep.

Eventually after Danny  wakes up, they manage to make a deal with him to send them back in return for letting him live on the watchtower for his annual vacation
