hi Sims 2 Community im Pizza, im old and I like old games. I got fed up with pinterest, left and then remembered that tumblr exists and came here instead to make a finds blog. I'll post whenever I feel like it. Feel free to follow if you want!
i created this blog for posting ts4 gameplay, but i decided to take a break from sims 4. because the majority of my followers are interested in the sims 4, and i really need to follow more ts2 simblrs, i'm looking for some mutuals that post about this game!!! so please reblog this so we can follow each other!
i'm currently playing a bacc following these rules, i hope y'all can follow the building of the city of pomeberry with me! the background image is a screenshot of the messy trailer of the town founder!
This is a little early, but I am going to need 5 test players after New Pleasantview is ready, but before it rolls out publically. Since I am going to be messing with story lines and scripted events I will need an unbiased opinion on the flow and whether things will make sense.
I just want to put this out there now. I am going to have a short questionaire that I will post soon so those interested can answer some quick questions about their game play and I can select the 5 kinds of players I need. Please share if you know someone who would be interested.
This is my response to this post by @goatskickin . FYI I'm using old version of PS.
Using Desaturate or Hue/Saturation to decrease texture saturation is not the best way to do it.
It might look OK sometimes BUT you'll get better results if you copy the layer, desaturate it and THEN set blend mode to Color. Adjust Opacity as needed.
Edit: as @paluding said in the comments, you can also create a new plain black layer instead of copying texture. That's the best way to desaturate hair or other stuff with alpha transparency.
When doing color actions on hair textures (or anything else) - if Hue/Saturation adjustment layer step does -83 Saturation (for example), instead you can do what I described above /but plain black layer/ and set grey layer Opacity to 83%. Of course you also need to set clipping mask before you merge the two layers.
Also, use SimPE to build textures as DXT5, do not rely on Bodyshop 'cuz it will always f*ck it up.
Heads up, if you get unsolicited messages in your inbox from people asking for money for their sick cat/runaway trans friend/diabetic mom in Gaza (that was the one I got today), and you just wanna be doubly-sure you're not about to report a real person as a spambot, run their username through https://jetblackcode.com/TumblrOriginalPostFinder and see how many posts they've actually made. Every single time I've had one of these, they've always had plenty of reblogs, but just the one, single original post, pinned, repeating the exact same spam message. Report with a guilt-free conscience!
