I like how succulent people online are into uwu cute aesthetic rosette things but the succulent club display at the Philadelphia Garden Show was mostly spectacularly weird euphorbias and various things that look like excised alien tumors

Pansy is such a stupid insult. They’re one of the more cold-tolerant flowers out there, African violets are the ones that can’t stand under 60 or getting their leaves remotely wet.

Happy 420, my fatsia japonica looks sad from either cold or too much light and I’m hoping it pulls through because it was relatively expensive for an outdoor plant

I have this shitty impromptu terrarium that’s just an old clear brownie container I used to start seeds in that has some random mossy green things growing in it from Florida because I took it on my move instead of tossing it as I’d planned. I almost want to work on it a little more and give it more light because it’s just kind of persisted despite me forgetting it exists.

Surreal sights: seeing a tall, thick stalk growing by a lightpole only to look up and see a giant sunflower head looking down, exactly the size and shape of an emergency shower
