A State School washout who currently belongs to a small office building. He performs the lowest tasks, tasks considered too low or dangerous even for the office darlings. He also acts as a servant of sorts for the darlings, who look down on him for his incorrigibility. Every day he is confronted with what he could have had, if he had just been obedient. Being a washout is a truly hellish existence, and knowledge of them helps to intimidate State School students.

Killing children in a playground is a clear sign that the dehumanization of Palestinians is seen as an opportunity, not a crime.

I hope this is okay to ask - do you have any writing tips for creating a yandere/villain character well? I’m drawing a blank every time I open my Google Docs…
I think that most important thing is to focus on who the yandere is and how it connects to what they are doing + how it connects them to darling.
For example...your yandere is kidnapping their darling!
Why? What are the motivations fueling this move? Did they stalk Darling before hand and plan this out (perhaps with a home prepared for them, a planner) or was this spur of the moment (forcing the yandere to make things up as they go along, a more emotional yandere who acts without thinking...which could have repercussions for Darling)?
Do they want to own Darling? Perhaps they are taking Darling simply to be able to have her to themselves but what does that ownership mean? A sadistic yandere might be keen for torture and pain, a greedy yandere might covet her as a doll to keep and play with, a delusional yandere might have a fantasy in mind for her to play out.
Are they scared for Darling? It could be a delusion fueling them, fear of an imagined threat or perhaps a genuine one and this yandere is not the only villain in the story.
Or are they angry, perhaps because she made some mistake without meaning to...what mistake was made, what rules exist to this game, and how will Darling discover them and learn to play them?
Are they regretful? Gleeful? Too enamored to be anything else?
Figuring out who the yandere is and who they want Darling to be fuels the rest of the story. The yandere is one of the most important characters because their madness is controlling the story, forcing Darling to live through it as best she can.
So who are they?
What brought them to Darling and what will become of her now?
Sadistic, delusional, controlling, romantic, greedy, paranoid, raging, depressed, there's so many things a yandere can be!
This is just a part of my process and I hope it helps, feel free to ask me anything else. I'm not the best writer but I do enjoy it, especially dark stories.

Pretty Yan: I have weed and a fridge full of food at my place~ I even know how to cook.
Loser Stoner Reader: ....Can I still order pizza anyway?
Pretty Yan: If that's what makes you happy~
Loser Stoner Reader, climbing in the back of Yan's car: The fuck are you standing around for then?

While Port Sarabeth raises their darling population in state schools, Stanfordia gives them some more freedom, allowing them to live with their birth families, but using various government initiatives to keep them docile and brainwashed. Among these are the Darling Scouts and multi level marketing “companies”.

The darling of a sadistic who has grown immensely jealous of the darling’s of his yandere’s friends. They’re all treated so well… Why doesn’t his girlfriend love him like that? It should be him.

Hi! I was looking though your writing and I know you already wrote about the different kinds of yandere but here's a thought. What kind of darlings do they want? Not a request.May you and your beta readers have a nice day!
tw - kidnapping, dehumanization, mentions of physical/mental abuse, and delusional mindsets.
Brave of you to assume there’s any rhythm or reason in a Yandere’s mind when they decide they’d like to find a Darling. I do appreciate a manageable list, though, and an excuse to use more italics than I should, so consider this the closest thing you’re going to get to an explanation.
Obsessives and Delusionals want someone that’ll love them back.
It’s not that complicated, right? They want someone they can see themself loving, someone they can see themself adoring, and even if they’re terrible, terribly wrong, someone they think will eventually give into the pressure, crack like the pretties pane of glass, and love them back just as furiously. You don’t have to be soft, you don’t have to be tender, you just have to be hesitant to refuse them outright. They’re looking for something specific, a special little pause when they ask to kiss you, just a scrap of reluctance whenever they try to hold you or pull you close or behave, even when they know you don’t want to. Some fall into it more easily than others, but they’re all desperate to believe that you love them - or, that you’d be able to, one day, if they just love you hard enough.
Protectives want someone that can’t survive without them.
Would calling you ‘inept’ be too harsh? They don’t think you’re incapable, and they don’t love you any less just because they’re under the assumption that you need a little help, but that doesn’t mean they bat an eye when it comes time to ask you to quit your job or stay at home or, when you prove to be too stubborn for your own good, locking you in your room and telling you this wouldn’t be happening if you just stopped being so irresponsible. They want someone who validates their concerns, who fuels their worst, most graphic, more visceral fears rather than soothing them. They don’t want to make you unhappy, but if they’re going to, they’d like to come out of it as guiltlessly as possible. They’re not hurting you, they’re teaching you that you’re not unbreakable. You’re not being manipulated, they’re just laying out all of the very realistic things that could happen to you, when they’re not around. It’s not kidnapping, it’s safe-guarding. In every case, they’re the type to go above and beyond to live up to their namesake.
Possessives want someone that won’t be strangled by a collar.
One of the only defining features of a Possessive is their desire to own their poor, unsuspecting little Darling. They don’t want someone who snaps at the slightest hint of violence, and they don’t want a partner that’s going to be dulled by a few months without sunlight, that’d defeat the purpose. They want you, but they want to have you, too, and they don’t want to have to break you down to break you in. You have to be resilient enough to survive what they’re going to do to you, and you’ve got to be vivid enough to come of out if without being completely dulled down. They know that probably just makes them worse, that you shouldn’t have to survive anything, that they shouldn’t force you to, but there’s only so much they can do to change themself, especially when the wrong look or a touch from a stranger is enough to test their self-control.
They know they’re going to try to drown you, so the least they could do is make sure you know how to swim, first.

“Israel is committing genocide.” Yes. They are. But so is the US. The US is 100% complicit in this, and Israel would not have been able to do as much without the help of the US. I’m disgusted to be living in a country that is complicit in the literal MURDER of civilians. Men, women, children, elderly, families. All dead because of Israel AND the US. This needs to STOP.

"This International Women’s Day we call on all who identify as feminists to engage in the lifelong unlearning of their biases and to be in solidarity with Palestinian women, Sudanese women, Congolese women who are experiencing an ongoing genocide." from The Slow Factory, 08/Mar/2024: caption cont. under images.

In Palestine, more than 9,000 women have been brutally killed by the Israeli Occupation. 63 women killed per day.
In Sudan, 4 million Sudanese women & girls are at risk of sexual violence.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, more than 1 million women have been survivors of sexual violence.
In Turtle Island aka the so called USA, 94% of fatal violence committed again Trans people are committed against Trans women.
This isn’t about the stats, the poverty porn or the constant shock doctrine the West desperately needs in order to be inclusive. This is a call for solidarity and collective action.
Access to feminine hygiene products, bodily autonomy and the access to necessary safe and caring spaces as women are all human rights.
