Question have you ever looked at a animal and thought about throwing it kinda like a football not out of anger or something but just cause it looks throwable and do you think theres a link there between that and the human brain guessing the aerodynamics of objects like frogs look super good for throwing and they're aerodynamic
It seems strange that Lavender, which is so widely beloved as one of the most pleasant-smelling plants in the world, useful in medicine and the kitchen, should have a meaning so negative. The reason behind this is simple; the asp, a venomous species of snake, was known to make its home in lavender fields. As such, the places where these wonderful plants were found were to be approached only with the most extreme caution.
Apart from that, there are hardly any downsides to lavender; its honey is delicious and its essential oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. The flower gets its name from the Latin lavare, which means ‘to wash’- this is because lavender was already added to baths and laundry in Roman times! Its scent can clear stale air and overpower unpleasant smells- in Victorian times, ladies would stuff lavender into their corsets as a deodorant. Italian perfumer Giovanni Maria Farina used it as a key ingredient in his world-famous Eau de Cologne, named after his city of residence.
