Honestly what the company did was terrible and scummy and I'm glad all those people got refunds, BUT the only people I really feel bad for like at all are the children of the parents who bought tickets. Like, they had no idea what was going on and thought they'd get to have a fun, wonderful time. They're kids. They don't know any better. They were not the ones spending the money.

But what absolutely boggles my mind is that people, and not just a few suckers, like a good amount of people, shilled out 40 dollars PER P E R S O N for an event that no one had ever heard anything about, had absolutely no real pictures of what it was going to look like posted anywhere, and was, most damning of all, was advertised exclusively with the most shitty AI generated photos I've ever seen. Like...

You really thought you were going to receive something like what's on the left? Look at it! If they at least TRIED to make the images look a little like real life and not a sugar induced fever dream I'd be less mad about people falling for it.

I once had a dream that my local shopping mall was made of flesh and meat and stuff. It was infinite and I was trapped in some back storage room. There were more flies than I could count.
