You want to know something funny, my lovely anon! I actually did not have headcanons for this when I first received the ask! That being said, I sure tried my best to think up some (hopefully) fantastic ones for you! 

Relationship Headcanons

It’s already been shown a little bit, but Kakei really prefers his partner to be a bit on the wild side, a little more adventurous and delinquent. He wants someone who can bring a bit of excitement into his life, who can make him let loose and who will turn his routine life upside down.

Kakei, though he appears very stoic, will enjoy a good party, especially during the off-season, when he doesn’t have to worry about focusing on the next game. He’ll enjoy making the rounds with his partner, showing them off and relaxing, watching them dance and laugh and have fun. He even has no issues with watching other people ogling his partner - just as long as everyone knows who they’re going home with that night.

Kakei’s got an amazing memory. Once he’s in a committed relationship, you can be guaranteed that not only will he remember his anniversary and his partner’s birthday but that he’ll likely remember the birthdays of all their family and friends and will be helpful enough to remind his partner of any upcoming special occasions. He’ll also remember the little things about his partner, right from the time they start dating, storing away facts about them as soon as he finds them out. Kakei will know his partner’s favourite colour, favourite food, how they prefer their coffee or tea, what side of the bed they prefer to sleep on, what size their clothes are, their shoes are, what brand of toiletries they prefer, etc. He’s good at remembering stuff like that and loves how happy it makes his partner whenever he uses the remembered facts to pick them up gifts, to make them coffee or tea in the morning, or when he stocks up on their favourite food or toiletries when they’re almost out, just because he’d noticed it.

Kakei’s so tall that almost any partner will be shorter compared to him. While he won’t tease them about their height, per se, he will sneakily taunt them, moving things they need up to a higher height when they’re not around, waiting for them to have to call him to come get it for them. And get it he will - after he makes them explain that they’re too short to reach it.

Kakei’s so bad at talking about his feelings. Like, seriously, he’s just horrible at it. He gets so flustered that most of the time, he just doesn’t even bother trying. He relies heavily on his actions to convey how he feels to his partner and will need someone who will understand and be content with that.
