This is still the saddest one shot I have wrote to this day…
Not ready to say goodbye
Adam ruzek
⚠️WARNINGS ⚠️ : BLOOD! Death, it’s sad u might cry..... I did when I wrote it, it’s fine to be a cry baby❤️
It was a long day for intelligence, they were being threatened by some group who wanted pay back because of the death of one of their friends
The team was about to do a raid when shots were fired one of which struck Y/N in the chest, the bullet pierced threw her vest and was near her heart
Hank pulled her out of the line of fire and put pressure on her wound while trying to keep her awake
"Y/N, hey Y/N stay with me" Hank said as he seen her eyes shutting
"Where's that ambo" he yelled after the shooting died down the team all came running toward's their boss and injured friend
"Y/N baby stay with me" Adam said as he kneeled down next to her
"Ambos 29 minutes out" Jay said as he came running up
"Tell them to hurry she's not gonna make it" Adam snapped
(Not me blinking away tears as I'm writing this)
"Adam" Y/N whispered weakly causing Adam to look down at her and pull her colder
"No don't do that your gonna be okay" He said with tears in his eyes
"I love you" she said as her eyes slowly, and her breaths became shallower
"I love you too baby girl" he said as her breathing stopped and eyes closed
At the hospital
"Time of death 18:42"
It was the worst day of Adams life, the girl he loved was gone
The team was morning the loss of their friend
The friend who was their for all of them when they were at their lowest, the friend who was their for them threw their darkest times, the one who would drag them out of bed when they didn't want to get up, and they missed her dearly
Day of her funeral
"Today we are here not to mourn but to celebrate the life of Y/N Ruzek" the priest said as he stood in the front of the church
In front of the team and Y/Ns baby sister who is only 4 and Adam who had Maria (Y/N's lil sis) sitting on his lap with her head resting on his chest
After the funeral everyone went back to Adams place and stayed for a while had dinner and told stories on the great times they had with Y/N
After everyone left Adam went to put a sleepy Maria to bed
"Adam" Maria said sleepily
"Hey what's up" he said sitting on the floor next to her bed
"I miss sissy" she said with sad eyes as Adams eyes watered
"I know, I do too" he whispered as her eyes slowly shut signaling she was asleep
Adam got up and kissed her head then went to his own bed crying as he missed his wife, his girl, his everything

Day 1 Jay Halstead
It was finally December and you couldn't wait to spend the holidays with your boyfriend. It was you and Jays first Christmas together and you were more then excited, jay had been at work all day but said he would help you decorate te Christmas tree when he got home.
As time went by the end of Jays shift approached and he started to make his way home to his girl. Jay loved Y/N and was more than happy to spend the holidays with her and their friends, as Jay arrived home he could smell fresh baked cookies and hear Christmas music playing softly in the kitchen, he knew you always loved the holidays even though you didn't have the best family
As Jay reached the kitchen he leaned against the door way and watched as you softly sang to your self and decorated cookies, chuckling he walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed you head softly
Leaning back into his touch you smiled as his hands ran through your hair
"How was your day" you said softly after turning in his arms and wrapping your arms around his neck
"Long" Jay said as he let out a tired sigh as he replied
Later that night
You and Jay started to decorate your Christmas tree, you had decided on a red, green, and gold theme and you loved how your tree turned out
As you came to a finish Jay helped you put the star on top and put out the nativity scene
(if you don't know what that is its a small little set of glass, plastic or wood sorta dolls that recreat the birth of baby Jesus)
The following day
You and Jay spent the day decorating the out side of your home together, you wanted to put lights up and told Jay you would do it yourself but he said no and did it for you and you watched and told him what to do, you were the happiest you had ever been and were glad to be sharing it with Jay, that night the two of you sat in front of the fire place and watched Christmas movies until you fell asleep

Yall im sorry if this is shit and that its so short, im not used to writing for Jay but I definitely am going to keep trying to write for him I will probably re-write this at some point

Temporary Hiatus
Alright I’m going on a temporary hiatus because I graduated in less than 2 weeks and my grade ain’t lookin too good but not too bad u can still send requests in but I won’t be able to get to them for a few weeks as I have a lot to do with graduation coming up.
And in the months of summer I have to go into my school to prepare to start there and they have me taking summer classes to adjust to the change because it is a CWS (corporate work study) school so please be patient

Request : @mcgreads : Hey can I request a Hank Voight and reader where the reader is younger and apart of the unit and her and Voight are together as well as her being best friends with Casey and she's with Platt during that episode where she' on the T.V. interview and the bomb goes off and Voight is worried and giving out orders as not only his bestfriend is in there but also his girl and he communicates with Casey as well. Lots of fluff in the end please❤

You work as a secretary at the front desk of District 21, you had been working there for a few months when Trudy asked if you would go to an T.V interview with her, having not wanting to go alone and embarrass herself
Walking up the stair to intelligence you dropped their mail off to them and made your way into you boyfriends office closing the door behind you
Walking over to him you sat your self down in his lap and rested your head on his shoulder
"Trudy and I are going to leave soon" You informed him as he wrapped his arms around your waist and pressed a kiss to your forehead
"Be safe please" he said while resting his heat on top of yours
"I will I promise" You reply looking him in the eyes he leans down and you two share a kiss that was interrupted by a knock on the door
The door opened reveling Trudy
"Hey Voight is Y/N in here" She asked with out looking up from her file
"Yep right here" he replied as you sit up in his lap
"Oh good it's time to go, I'm driving" She said then turned and walked out
"Alright ill see you later when we get back" You say giving Hank one last kiss and taking his brown leather jacket with you before leaving
--------- At the interview ---------
You and Trudy had just gotten to the news station where the interview was being held, walking onto the interview set Trudy was taken to a seating area to starts the interview
"I'm so excited to be here today with Trudy Platt" the host says as Trudy sits with a smile, before Trudy could reply a beeping sound is heard through out the studio
"What is that" one person asks
--------- Before the explosion at 21 ---------
"Platts on in two. Everyone! Adam!" Kim yells
"Antonio, come on" Kim said
"We're not staying, I'm gonna do paper work at home" Antonio said looking up from his desk for a split second
"Hey, Eva. What's up, kid" Adam said as he walked out of the hallway
"My father's a fascist" she replied
"Okay, I don't know what to do with that" Adam says surprised
"Okay, everybody be quiet" Kim said "Platt's on TV.
"Betty's sitting down to discuss the new friendly face of the Chicago PD" the producer said
"What friendly face is that" Jay joked
"Betty" the producer said
"Thank you Shri, I'm so exited to be here today with Sergeant Trudy Platt, from the 21st District" Betty said
"She couldn't possibly hate this more" Adam joked
'It's my pleasure, I'm hap-I'm happy to be here." Trudy said with a big fake smile
"I wonder what Y/N's doing and if she's laughing as hard ass we are" Erin chimed in
"Is everything okay?" Trudy asked as they all heard a beeping
"I think that's coming from my office" Sheri said before an explosion went off
"What the hell happened" Kim said as they all grabbed their coats and things before making their way to the News Station with their boss who was pissed more than ever
--------- Back at the New station Y/N's POV ---------
"Sheri, Sheri hey stay with me" Trudy said
"All the exits are blocked we're stuck" I said coughing slightly
Trudy looked up scared then looked around the room
"Okay we are going to go into the back room and wait for help, and everything will be okay, because we are getting out of here" Trudy said while dragging Sheri's barely conscious body into the back dressing room
As Trudy and I made it into the dressing room I noticed a sink and check if the water was running, which it was, I grabbed 3 rags and soaked them in water then handed Trudy two of the
"Sheri, are you still with me? Sheri, come on girl stay with me, Stay with me Sheri" Trudy said while trying to get Sheri to keep her eyes open
I sat on the floor next to Trudy slightly panicking when heard people walking and yelling
"Fire department. Call Out" I looked to Trudy and started to yell
"Here, we're in here" I yelled as many time as i could before i started coughing again
The door swung open and revealing Mouch, Kelly, and Matt
"Okay lets get you ladies out of here" Kelly said while picking Sheri up while Mouch help Trudy and Casey helped me
"Are you okay are you hurt" He said going into protective friend mode.
"I'm okay" I said while coughing, matt picked me up bridal style and carried me out the building
"Hank" I said when I seen my boyfriend who looked more pissed than ever, once he heard me he rushed to Casey who was helping me stand
"OH thank god" Hank said relived to see me
"You're going to med" Hank said with Matt agreeing
"We don't need any more surprises today" Matt said
"Hank you take her, ill try and meet you both later I got to go" Matt said to his two closest friends as he turned to go back into the building with his squad
--------- Third person POV ---------
Hank rode in the back of the ambulance with Y/N to the hospital, holding her hand the whole time
At the hospital Y/N was put into a trauma room and checked over thoroughly as she was close to the blast
"Okay you seem to have no major injury's, I am going to do some blood work, and put you on some oxygen for a few hours to get your levels back to normal, but other than that you seem fine and should be able to go home by tonight" Dr. Halstead said
"Thank you" Y/N replied before Will left
"You should go back to work, ill be okay" Y/N said to hank as she laid her head back onto the pillow and looked up at Hank
"No I should be here with you" He protested shaking his head
"I'll be okay I will call you if I need anything you should be out there helping your team" Y/N said
"Fine but i will be back to check up on you soon" Hank said
"Okay" Y/N said with a small smile, Hank pressed his lips to hers and left, soon after Will came back into the room
"Okay your blood work is back" Will stated "You both look good, try and keep it easy for the next few days, no heavy lifting for at least a week" He said
"Wait both" Y/N said
"Oh, you didn't know. Congratulations, Y/N your pregnant" He said with a smile "I'll have Nat come in for an ultrasound to see how far along you are" he stated before being called out for another trauma
Matt walked into the room still in his turnouts
"Hey peach, how are ya?" He asked with a smile
"I'm okay" Y/N said with a small smile
"I have a request though" Y/N said with a big smile looking at him
"what?" He said looking at me suspiciously
"Chick-Fil- A" Y/N said with puppy dog eyes
"Your lucky I like you, ill see what I can do" He said before kissing my head and leaving
Nat came in a little while after and we did the ultra sound and Y/n is 5 weeks pregnant, soon after Nat left both Hank and Matt walked in
"Hey baby" Hank said as he kissed my head
"I came with your food but I cant stay long" Matt said holding up the fast food bag
"Yay thank you" Y/N said happily, they all sat for a while and talk, later on Matt left and not long after Y/N was discharged she and Hank made their way home
Y/N sat on the couch and put her feet in Hanks lap letting him rub her feet
"Hey, We need to talk" Y/N said moving her feet from Hanks lap and moving closer to sit next to him
"What wrong, Hun" Hank asked worriedly
--------- Y/N's POV ---------
"So I got some news after you left the hospital earlier" I stated looking at Hank " and it's good news depending on how you take it and if you don't take it good then I don't know what I'm going to do be-" I said rambling only being cut off by Hank
"Hey, hey, hey take a breath and try to calm down alright" Hank said while pulling me into his lap, taking a few deep breaths I was able to calm down
"I'm pregnant" I said looking into his eye's
"A-Are you sure" He asked looking at me with hope, I nodded and he pulled me close to his body
We stayed like that for a while and I could feel my self falling asleep in the warmth of Hanks arms
I felt Hank lift me and carry me to our bedroom he laid me down and got in bed next to me, that night Hank's arms felt tighter around my waist and I could feel his hand resting against my still flat stomach
The next morning Matt had come over for brunch and we told him he was over the moon to become an uncle just as Hank and I are over the moon to become parents

Y’all can I just say I am PROUD of myself for actually getting requests done! Meeting Him
Antonio Dawson
It was a cold day in Chicago as Christmas neared
Antonio has been at the mall picking up some gifts for his family as wasn't paying attention where he was walking when he ran into a young girl no more than 21
"Oh sorry" she said as she picked up her bags from the floor
"No it's my fault I wasn't watching where I was going" he said and with that she smiled and walked off and Antonio watched as she walked into a store
Later that week
Antonio was questioning witnesses about a kidnapping when
He called the next witness into the room and when he looked up he was shocked to see the young lady from the mall who he had bumped into but he just shook his head and started the interview
"Hello I'm Detective Dawson can you state your name and age please" he said
"Amora Santos 21," she said he nodded
"Where were you when you seen/ heard about the kidnapping" he then asked
"I was in a store when a lady ran up asking me if I had seen daughter she said her name was Maya and she was five so I helped and when we couldn't find her I called 911" she said "Is this gonna take long I have finals in an hour" she then asked
"No give me a few I'll be back" Antonio said then walked out to talk to Voight
"Anything" Voight asked
"Uhh first few no but this one Amora Santos helped the mother look for her kid and made the first 911 call" Antonio said Voight nodded his head and walked into the interview room as Antonio walked into the viewing room
"So Amora" Voight said catching her attention
"You helped Mrs. Lewis look for Maya" he asked sitting down he watched as she nodded her head
"Did anything seem off" Voight then asked
"What do you mean" she then asked him back
"Like she wasn't telling you something I guess or like she was keeping something from you" he then added
"She kept changing the kids hair color, first she said it was black, then brown, then blonde, and she said she had on leggings and a black tank top but then said she had on jeans and a pink t-shirt" she then said Voight nodded and stood up
"Thank you for your time we will be in touch" he said opening the door for her as she nodded and left the room
Amora has seen Antonio looking at her so she smiled kindly and sorta rushed pass him to hide the blush keeping up her face
After this Amora ran to the bus stop missing the bus by at least a minute she knew she was going to miss her finals but she seen a car pull up next to her and the window roll down
"Need a ride" Called Antonio
"Uh no I'm good" she said
"You said you had a final to get to and the next bus won't be here for another 20 minutes, and it's fairly cold out" he then said so she sighed and nodded then got in his car
"Where to" he asked
"University of Chicago" she said he nodded then they were off
"Thanks" she said as they pulled up in front of the University
"Any time" he said as she shut the door
He watched as she waved and walking into the building

When we were young

It was a hit summer day in Chicago when intelligence got a call about a double homicide on the east side
Every one on the team got into their cars and made their way to the crime scene
When Antonio and Hank got their they seen a detective walk up to them
"Can I help you" the young lady asked when she seen them walk up
Antonio swore he new her but couldn't figure it out so he brushed it off
"Sargent Hank Voight, Thats Antonio Dawson, intelligince" Said Hank
"Yeah I know who you are" the lady said
"Detective Corina Vanderlyn, Homicide" she said
"We will be taking this case off your hands detective" Hank said
"I'm sorry but that's not gonna happen Iv been chasing this crew for months" she said holding her ground and that's when Commander Parry walked up
"Voight, I see you have met detective Vanderlyn" Commander Parry said
"Yeah" he replied
"Good she will be working with your team on this case" He then added
"Excuse me" Voight then said
"No you don't get a say she is one of the best detectives in this city and she will work with you on this case if that's all I have press to address" Commander Party then walked off as Corina was called over by some patrol men
After the case was solved
"Corina a word please" Voight called as he seen her packing her thins up to leave and not talking to any one from the team
As Corina walked into his office Hank shut the door
"I want to offer you a position on my team" he said
"Thank you but-" she was then cut off by Voight shaking his head
"Sleep in it and let me know by the end of the week" she nodded and stood to leave "I think you will be a great part of this team" Hank then added but she didn't reply she just opened the door and walked out
Once she got back over to her things she seen Antonio look at her
"Yes Dawson" she asked feeling his gaze linger on her
"I'm sorry you just look so familiar" he said
"You really don't remember me" she asked looking back at him as he shook his head
"I know your younger than be by at least ten years and that you are one bad ass cop but I can't figure out how I know you" he said
"How's Gabby" She then replied catching his attention and he saw the smile on her face
"She- Shes fine" he said
"And how about your parents they still in Dominican Republic" she then asked
"Ok this is creepy how do you know this" he said as they walked out the building
"Our parents were best friend I practically lived at your house remember Maria and Jesus, then my brothers" she said as they stopped and she seen the minute that the realization hit him
"Oh my God" he said smiling he then hugged her
"It's been so long" he then said
"We should go see gabby she works at a bar not far from here" he said she then nodded
"Yeah let's do it" she said as she put her number in his phone and then he texted her the address to Molly's and they were on their way
Once they got to Molly's they went up to gabby who immediately recognized her and got her a drink
Corina and Antonio were sitting with the intelligently team drinking when jay asked
"What was Antonio like when he was younger"
"Uhm I remember when we were at least 17 we would sneak out and steal our parents Booz and get completely wasted and then just run around town at like 3 Am in school nights before we had to go back home and sleep and act like we weren't completely hung over and drunk" she said as the team all laughed " So I would say not the best kid but not the worst" she said as he shook his head and laughed
By the end of the night every one had left and gone home
Antonio walked Corina to her car
"We should hang out again soon" he said as she unlocked her car
"Yeah, we should, but right now I gotta get home to my baby girl she probably is fighting Tony on going to bed" she said and Antonio just looked at her shocked but then nodded he watched as she got into her car and drove off
Oh how he had missed his best friend

Team Game Night (Chicago P.D)
The team had all planned to gather at Erins place for team game night they did this at least once a month
Y/N hadn't planned on going but Kim kept bugging her and she finally gave in, she didn't have a problem with any one on the team but she felt that they just didn't like her even if she had been hand picked by Voight
Erin told Y/N to dress comfy but casual so she threw on a pair of black leggings, a burgundy sweatshirt, and white converse.
Erin has also told her that she didn't need to bring anything so she just grabbed her car keys and her phone and left
Once she arrived at Erins house she parked and just sat there for a second she had been thinking about going back home when someone knocked on her window
"Hey you coming in" asked Hank her boss she just simple smiled and nodded grabbing her phone and following him inside where she was greeted by Erin, Antonio, Kim and Adam.
After a while the rest of the team showed up Y/N had taken a seat in the back corner of the room and kinda kept to herself after a while Kim realized that Y/N had kept to her self and didn't really talk to anyone
"Hey Y/N/N" (Y/N/N=Your nickname) Kim called Y/N looked over at and she continued "Tel us about yourself" she then added on
"There's nothing to tell" Y/N stated and then the team started to pry
"Oh come on no hobbies, no boyfriend, no girlfriend nothing" asked Antonio
"Nope" she replied popping the "P" and then as she looked down at her phone Erin gasped causing the team to look at her
"I have an idea" she said practically running to another room
After a few minutes she came out holding a Quji bored
"Oh come on Erin what are we Five?!" Asked Hank after he seen what she was holding
"No but we have nothing better to do so who's in" she replied almost everyone nodded and said yeah then they looked to Y/N and Hank
"Nope I'm good" Hank said then looked at Y/N who just shook her head no and went back to looking at her phone
"Y/N your no fun" Erin said then sat down with everyone else
"Bitch please" Y/N responded causing the team to bust out in laughter even Hank was laughing and smiling which cause Y/N to smile a bit because she finally felt like she was apart of the team after everyone settled down they started playing the game and Y/N sat and watched even if they did make her feel apart of the team for once she didn't want to push it so she stayed off to the side the team had been playing the Quji bored for at least an hour when they heard something break making everyone jump and scream and then break out in laughter when they realized it was Erins cat on the counter who just knocked a glass off the edge of the counter
They went back to playing the game and 10 minutes later the lights flickered then went out and came back on
"Okay I think that's enough for tonight" said Erin as she got up and started putting the game away after a little while of everyone helping clean up they slowly started to leave
Y/N was washing the dishes and once she finished she walked into the living room sipped her shoes on then went over to Erin and Hank
"Hey I'm leaving"She said as she popped her head into the hallway
"Oh I'll walk you out" Hank says
"No it's fine I'll be okay" she replies shaking her head
"I wasn't asking" He then says he then grabbed his keys and jacket and says bye to Erin
Hank walked her out to her car and said bye before getting in his own and driving home
Y/N thought that this was a good way to spend her night but she was still going home to watch Greys Anatomy re-runs
