Go vote.  Senator Rafael Warnock will continue to work with President Biden to lower drug prices. That’s helpful to us all.  Senator Warnock will also preserve Social Security.  His opponent will not.  

The choice is clear. Vote for Senator Warnock. We don’t need another lunatic in the Senate who will work to dismantle what took over a century to build. 

PS - Watching a 21st century “Sleep n Eat” turns my stomach.

Early voting has started in most states. Go out and vote. There is one party that only runs on the platform of “The sky is falling”, and the other party that offers solutions. 

As you decide who to vote on, ask yourself, “What do you want. And what party is most likely to give it to you.”

Hint: The Republican party vowed that if they take over both chambers of Congress, they will cut Social Security. That’s an earned benefit working people pay into their whole lives.  First the erosion of the Affordable Care Act under Trump, and now they want to go after Social Security. Meanwhile, the super wealthy are STILL enjoying the deep tax cuts given under Trump by way of the falsely named “Tax Cuts & Jobs Act” 0f 2017. 

I’m voting to keep the crackpots OUT of office.

“Sex and the City: And Just Like That”

I read the news about the allegations against Chris Noth today. After reading the article and thinking about Mr. Noth’s statement, I must agree with him.  The timing of these accusations are pretty suspicious. But the more I thought about it, I have a theory of why these allegations are coming out now. 

The Republican party has a platform for women.  Keep them scared and they will vote for anything that makes them comfortable again.  It worked in 2018 when Donald Trump said before the election that “Caravans of Latino migrants are COMING HERE and bringing crime and disease with them.”  Republicans gained two senate seats because white women voted for Republicans who vowed to “secure the southern border”.  

Just this election for governor in Virginia...it worked again. White women were falsely told that “Critical Race Theory” was being taught to their kids (its not. CRT is taught in law school). But Condoleeza Rice went on the show “The View” to warn that “Americans must not make white people feel bad about being white”.  They voted for the Republican candidate in Virginia that vowed to “stop teaching CRT to Virginia’s kids”.  

Recently Senator Ted Cruz (R) of Texas, when asked about a woman’s right to control her own body with her choices said on camera, “We (men) will tell women what they can do with their bodies.”  You all know that Republicans, by packing the Supreme Court with conservatives, are succeeding at ending access to abortion.  If successful, access to birth control pills is next.

When Republicans are also asked about the manufacturing base getting smaller in America, Republicans are on the record of saying the solution to less available jobs is that “women need to go back to traditional roles”. In other words, go have babies and stay at home.

Sex and the City, when you take a birds eye view of the totality of the series, is about women’s empowerment.  Four women who navigated a world where they supported each other putting themselves and their needs first, even while pursuing meaningful relationships with men.  “And Just Like That” continues the story and the themes of women putting themselves first with no apology.  Since the Republicans are on the record of being anti-women’s rights, it makes sense that they want to help torpedo a show that reminds women that they have choices and agency over their destiny in life. SATC: AJLT is not in keeping with the Republicans trying to keep women scared, angry, and looking for Republican male saviors to be elected for them.  

Attacking Chris Noth’s alleged personal sex life is just a tool to disgust women in the era of “Me Too”, thus turning off female viewers.  Remember, Donald Trump had at least 15 women accuse him of sexual assault in 2016.  12 hours before the first man was accused of sexual assault in 2017, Donald Trump Tweeted, “This is the calm before the storm”. 12 hours later Harvey Weinstein was accused.  A few days later, Matt Lauer.  A few days after that Kevin Spacy.  And in the months following, Bill Cosby, R Kelly and a slew of network executives.  The current “Me Too” movement was always a tool to get women’s focus on sex assault going elsewhere. And it worked.  Instead of Donald Trump’s sex assault allegations being front and center, the Republican party got women to take their energy elsewhere, with David Pecker of the National Enquirer to help by opening their vaults. 

Now that the 2022 Mid-Term elections are around the corner, expect more men to be raked over the coals. Chris Noth is just the first victim of the Mid-Term season. White women need to keep away from television that reminds them of their sexual/work/interpersonal agency.  And the Republican party want women to turn away from SATC.  That’s why the reviews are not good. Its a hit job.

Don’t let the Republican party manipulate you.  Enjoy the “Sex and the City: And Just Like That” series.  And don’t let Republicans tell you what you can do with your bodies. Women’s rights are under attack, and its not just reproductive choice.

Mitch McConnell said that he would “absolutely back Donald Trump”, if Trump chose to run for the presidency again in 2024. 

To be clear about what is REALLY happening: The fraud “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” which was actually the biggest transfer of wealth from the middle class to the ultra wealthy is set to expire in 2024. So of course Mitch McConnell would back Trump again. They want to get him elected in 2024 to extend the tax cuts for the ultra wealthy after the one from 2017 expires.

Republicans want the “trailer park” vote to get those tax cuts for the ultra wealthy who only number about 400.  And only Donald Trump can bring out the trailer park crowd in big enough numbers to win.  

Again...400 individuals own more wealth than the rest of the 350 million Americans combined. 

In three and a half years since Trump took office, the 400 ultra wealthy got 1 trillion dollars richer with Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan’s tax cuts. At the same time, we see record numbers of corporations going belly up, closing a lot of stores or going overseas.  Carrier Air Conditioner, Harley Davidson, Toys-R-Us, Neiman Marcus, Luby’s, GM, Macy’s, Fry’s to name just a few. 

For those of you who voted to get Trump out of office, please show up in 2022 and 2024 to kick Republicans out of office and keep Trump out too.  The middle class cannot afford Donald Trump making life harder while making ultra wealthy people even richer by pushing the federal income tax burden down to the middle class.

Those riots were the most terrible thing I’ve seen people commit in this country.  

But just think: Donald Trump said while stoking up the idiots, “Remember, I’ll be there with you!”, and watched Americans run off to vandalize, assault, threaten, and steal from the Congressional building and offices.  

Now you see the US Marshalls and FBI go from coast to coast to round up the criminals and jail them for charges ranging from misdemeanor trespassing, to felony murder.   

All the while after Trump promised “to be there with you”, he dipped out after that statement and went to a secure bunker to watch the mayhem. 

All of those being arrested and put on no fly lists need to realize something....Donald Trump and ALL of his children are not getting arrested for anything! They were in the secure bunker with Donald laughing at all of the idiots who will put their freedom at risk to fight for a man who doesn’t care about them.  If those insurrectionists were on fire and Donald had the last cup of water, he would drink it.

This is Donald Trump's pandemic.   The Chinese food supply has been decimated by Donald Trump's reckless trade war. China is no longer buying food from US farmers obviously leaving China trying to feed its population. Bats are now on the menu. So the handling and consumption of bats spread the disease to humans  and now here we are.  Remember Trump saying "trade wars are easy to win..." Every economist told the American public that nobody has ever won a trade war. Now with an interruption to thew world food supply because of Trump, here we are.  People will find a way to eat, and the people of the Wuhan Provence taught us that they will even risk disease to get protein to fill an empty stomach.

Donald Trump has also decimated the United States ability to combat  the spread of the disease.  He promised it during the 2016 campaign to "reduce the size of the administrative state"....that included the federal Center's for Disease Control and the National Institute of Health.  We no longer have the internal infrastructure and money available to combat disease outbreaks. 

Donald Trump AND the Republican Congress and Senate repealed the individual mandate for health insurance further destabilizing the  insurance markets causing 5 million citizens to lose their health insurance coverage. And rural hospitals are closing at an accelerated rate thanks to Trump, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. 

When is America going to learn that you cannot tax cut and starve the federal government into prosperity?

Why Do Black People Always Have to Forgive?

I saw Amber Guyger on the stand shaking and crying while saying she shot Botham because she "Was so scared!!!! I was so scared that he was going to kill me.  This is not about hate, its about fear...."

Yeah.

And I'll name another instance of black people being on the receiving end of white fear and rage:

Jordan Davis was shot to death. His killer, Michael Dunn said that he shot Davis because he "Was not going to be disrespected".

Renisha McBride was shot to death at the door of Theodore Wafer. Renisha knocked on the wrong door for help, and Wafer shot her in the face killing her instantly. When asked by police why he did it as Renisha lay in a pool of blood on his front porch, Wafer said, "My car was vandalized by a bunch of black kids, and I'm not going to be disrespected again".

Terrence Crutcher was walking away from a police officer, but was shot in the back by a white female officer. When asked why officer Betty Shelby shot Mr. Crutcher, she said she "was terrified, Mr. Crutcher was so big and menacing, and didn't follow my commands", even though the police video showed Mr. Crutcher walking away with his hands up.

It is clear to me that white people genuinely feel that black people are hulking menaces that wake up itching to hurt/maim/kill any white person who crosses their path.

My advice? White people: TURN OFF FOX NEWS. I have watched Fox News commentators spend the past 20 years yelling into the screen at their majority white audience, "They need to pull up their pants....take of that hoodie....comply.....just get arrested and then go home...." And if you are white and see Fox's news night after night, you get the sense that people who are black will not act civilized and are problems that need to be eliminated.

Think I'm mistaken? Go to YouTube and watch any police shooting of an unarmed black person. After said shooting, police don't render aid or call 911 for an ambulance. They always call their union representative before calling for an ambulance. Then they sit idly by watching the black person bleed out.

So I repeat: white people....you need to turn off Fox News. Obviously you have been slowly influenced to believe black people are all wild, uncooperative, dangerous criminals that are walking crime scenes waiting to happen. And just Amber Guyger's testimony showed me that Fox News commentators did their job. She busted into an unarmed, college educated, gainfully employed black man's apartment and shot him down like an animal. And then you see the pathetic and heartbreaking video of better trained police starting CPR on Botham, while Amber is hyperventilating swearing repeatedly that she "thought it was my apartment", but showed absolutely no regard for the condition of the man she just shot.

But why should Amber even try to check on the man she just shot? To Amber and many more white females, her need to feel comfortable superseded Botham's right to exist.

President Obama signed an Executive Order after the Sandy Hook Elementary murders. In it was a provision for expanded background checks for mental illness by the FBI. When Trump got in office, with Wayne LaPierre of the NRA by his side, signed an Executive Order canceling Obama's enhanced background check...on the anniversary of the Sandy Hook school murders. 

 To be clear...Obama's executive order, had it been left in place would have prevented the shooting that happened in Parkland Florida. That shooter was under psychiatric care and wouldn't have passed a background check to get his firearms used to murder students and teachers. 

 So when Trump calls for better legislation to prevent these shootings....he's not being honest about his own actions since taking squatting in the Oval Office. The news media has yet to point this  fact out.

Let that sink in.

The majority of seats up for grabs in 2020 are Republican senator seats. So...Republican senators won’t come anywhere near a television news reporter to talk about the crackpots Donald Trump stirred up. 

Remember, elected Representatives get healthcare for life, paid for by the American tax payer. If YOU get caught in a mass shooting, you’d better hope to have health insurance and some extra as most policies only pay 80% of the bill. 

Do YOU have 10 plus grand in the bank to spare to pay for surgery in a trauma center?

Choose better in 2020.  We need universal healthcare. This is the richest country in the world. The ultra rich need to pay their fair share of taxes. A “giving pledge” is not enough.

The rest of us have to dodge bullets as we go about our daily lives as: 

 Congress does nothing to expand background checks to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill. 

 The NRA says "everyone has the right to guns including the mentally ill". 

 Donald Trump signed the Executive Order on the anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting canceling the Obama EO expanding background checks for mental illness! 

 Meanwhile, ask Steve Scalise, who was almost killed by a shooter. He has tax payer funded healthcare that took care of him in the ICU for months and physical therapy for years after. All paid for by you, the American tax payer. Yet Republicans in both chambers of Congress, the president and Republican appointed federal judges are working tirelessly to keep the American citizen from accessing the "golden" healthcare that elected representatives enjoy. 

 So think about it: When Donald Trump says, "I am a Nationalist", and the innocent American gets shot by another Nationalist, the innocent American recover at their own expense, crushed by hospital bills. No national healthcare for YOU. 

 Meanwhile today, notice that EVERY elected Republican are hiding behind their Twitter feed. They don’t  want to face a news camera.  They only think of re-election in 2020.

US farm bankruptcies on the rise

I wonder how many people now declaring bankruptcy voted for Trump?

And if they voted for Trump, do they now regret their choice?

Bankruptcies up at its highest level in over a decade. 

Suicides in rural America are at its highest level since Trump has been elected.

I dare say, this is what happens when you vote with malice in your heart. I saw many YouTube videos where Trump voters were happy when Trump was sticking it Latino migrants at the border.  Now that rural America is not seeing their “something awesome healthcare” promised by Trump and now trade tariffs that are putting farmers out of business in record numbers, they  cry foul because, as rural Trump voters now say, “I never thought Trump was going to hurt US.”

Selfishness opens the door for Karma to kick people in the ass.

The rise of Autism in the last 25 years....in my opinion....can be linked to the rise of “anti bacterial” everything in our world.

When I was a child, a cut on the skin can be cleaned with regular soap and water and left to dry out. If anything extra was done, it may have been rubbing alcohol or iodine to further clean the wound. That was the 1970′s. 

Since the 1980′s I’ve seen the rise of advertising for “anti-bacterial” soap. Then anti-bacterial cleaning agents for around the home.

Families protected the inside of their home by having central air conditioner ducts with filters that have evolved to taking everything out to a few microns in size. 

Studies have already shown that kids who grow up in the “country” have less numbers of people who suffer allergies than kids who grow up in the city.

It is my belief that Western society has evolved to basically sterilize our environment that kids immune system doesn’t get a chance to fight off anything significant. Air conditioning filters, anti-bacterial soap and household cleaners, hand sanitizing anti-bacterial gels, fewer mothers breast feeding and choosing sterile commercial formula, etc. Kids these days don’t play outside the way older generations have. Home video games and computers make it easy to stay indoors most of the day. 

If children are growing up in an environment where they don’t face germs....the first bit of germs they get is though a vaccine at the doctor’s office as a toddler. It is my anecdotal belief that because children are barely exposed to ANYTHING in the first few years of life, the first germ shock to their immune system is the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine. Maybe the vaccine overwhelms the child’s underdeveloped immune system sometimes causing Autism spectrum disorder. 

It is my belief that kids need to be exposed to things previous generations had at the same age before the anti-bacterial everything craze. Let the kids play in the grass. Let them sniff flowers.  Plain soap will clean them just fine at the end of the day. Let their immune system do what thousands of years of evolution was meant to do. Build protection and immunity though exposure to.....life. Then when the time for vaccines comes due, your child won’t get an overwhelming germ shock to their immune system.

If you listen carefully to this segment of the interview, Howard Schultz is basically saying that in order to have affordable: healthcare, college, primary schools, you have to increase the taxes of the wealthy. So...Schultz will run for president as an independent to split the progressive vote. Therefore re-electing Donald Trump to make sure Schultz’ taxes are not raised. God forbid he and the rest of the ultra wealthy pay their fair share...

Howard Schultz is as selfish and greedy as Donald Trump. The top 1% of earners want the tax burden to fall on the middle class. If voters do in 2020 like they did in 2016....”sit it out” or waste their vote on a third party candidate, it will GUARANTEE Donald Trump gets re-elected and put a THIRD corporatist judge on the Supreme Court.

Folks: Don’t waste your vote in 2020. Donald Trump must go back to New York and face the music from their prosecutors for his failing criminal real estate business.
