Things I’m Tired Of Feminists Saying
Since there are SO many the other way.
1. “Women are oppressed!” No you aren’t.
2. “Feminism means equality. If you aren’t feminist you aren’t for equality!” On paper yes. In practice no.
3. “You’re for equality? Congratulations, you’re a feminist.” How dare you call me that
4. “White, cis, straight, etc people can’t understand real struggles! They’re privileged!” Literally bad things and bad situations can happen to fucking anyone?
5. “Reverse racism isn’t real.” No. But racism is real. Just because you’re racist to someone who’s ‘privileged’ doesn’t make you any less racist than the guy who is to someone else.

Mother: Oh you are so silly, honey! Let's take a picture to show Daddy later :)
4 year old boy 2015: Look, Mommy! I'm wearing your shoes!
Mother with a tumblr account: OMG! You're obviously trans!!! Let's buy you nothing but dresses from now on! Please know that your genderless parental figure and I fully support you during this transition period! I'll start making plans for the surgery immediately!!!

Transgendering trending
Yes, I’m making the word a verb.
I recently heard of a Mom not wanting to “force” her child into a stereotype by “making her be a girl”. Therefore, she now thinks her girl, who assumes many boy characteristics, is having a transgender crisis.
This Mom has fallen into the hype trap of terminology!
In past generations, a young girl assuming boy characteristics would be termed a “tomboy”. Forgive my stereotyping and generalizing, but said girl may grow up loving sports and yet, fall in love with a man, have children, and live blissfully as a heterosexual butch. Or, said girl decides to live a lesbian lifestyle, has a lifelong commitment with another woman, and lives blissfully as a homosexual butch.
Currently, moms of tomboys fear their child is having a “gender crisis” and are therefore transgendering them, or allowing and even suggesting they “pick a side”. Sorry moms of the transgendering type, this isn’t gym class where you get picked to be on a team.
This is life. A life created… and not by you. Oh yes, you had the privilege of carrying your child while they were knit together in your womb. However, did you “place an order” for the gender of your child? So stop messing with it. Stop transgendering them. Allow them to live in girl skin with boy characteristics. But at the end of every day, they are genetically a girl. And instead of confusing them further about creation, allow them to decide if they “just want to be a tomboy”! But please, don’t lead them to believe they are created to be, genetically, a boy. Born gender is not a mistake or boo boo that mommy needs to fix.
Take that message with you next time you are at the playground or soccer field with your tomboy!

Don’t be a duped consumer! Where do we draw the line between healthy capitalism and consumer addiction that leads to a self-obsessed, materialistic culture? Yes, I’m suggesting that greedy capitalists breed addictive consumers.

Foregoing Grey
Grey seems to be popular these days.
As a color choice for home decor.
As a name.
As a book and now a movie phenomenon.
Seems Grey the book/movie character (and you know the one I’m talking about) has taken on a personality all its own. I was walking through the airport a few years ago when the first book in the series was all the rage. A young man was wearing a tshirt that said something like:
Thanks You Shit Grey
Pardon the expletive but it was definitely on the shirt in spite of my not remembering the other exact words. After processing the phrasing (because, after all, I read it in passing), I realized that the tshirt was actually screaming:
“Thanks for ruining our sex lives as we lousy lovers know it!”
Women all over the world were mesmerized, men were just plain pissed off. Here’s my biggest concern. These books/movies, which I in the minority have not read or seen, are like a gateway drug for women into the world of pornography. Even many sweet sisters in the church, some unadmittedly, have bought into this crap. I mean, did the author really have to give this disgusting character the first name “Christian”. It seems blasphemous. Even intentional perhaps. The whole racket of books and now movies seems a sneaky way to capture hearts and minds of women and then send them down the illusive rabbit hole world of pornography. The focus of pornography addiction always seems to focus on men. However, based on the majority demographics of the Grey series fan base, I’m willing to bet that many women are obsessed and addicted to not only Grey, but well beyond any “shade of grey” and full-on into the blackness of the pornography industry, which is called fantasy for a reason. It’s not real ladies! Wake up! Beloved sisters. Have you not heard? Do you not know?
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
Don’t be devoured by Grey or any shade of it. When it comes to black and white, turn from blackness in your life and take a chance on white! White often represents pureness, angelic, and bright. It represents God. Gods grace, forgiveness, and redemption are available. His pureness in your life will bring you peace! Through his love, you can learn to love.
Not through fantasy. For real.
That’s why I chose to forego Grey.
