yes. okay. ill tone it down for you. i wont talk so loud when im excited. ill keep my legs clamped together and shrink down for you so arent intimidated by my manly disposition. oh, you want me to shave too? ill go shave every inch meticulously and i wont even cry when it burns later. yeah yeah youre right ill wear a longer skirt. cant risk scarring some family from them seeing a tiny bulge in fabric. was my voice too deep for you? and ill never sound like a real girl? you can always tell cant you. ive got some weird kinks? nevermind plenty of cis people share them, yeah im just a freak and should go to prison or just die. yeah. youre right i was talking over that person, ill stay quiet and keep my head down.
am i small enough for you to fold away in some dusty corner yet? am i palatable enough for you to chew and swallow til theres nothing left? did i make you laugh hard enough the tears blocked my sorrow? did you get off on me and close the tab?
While QR codes are neat and easy for producing a large number of links in a short amount of time, it is quite easy to turn a qr code into malware that can cause some pretty good damage on anyone that scans it iir otherwise qr codes would be perfect. I wish I had something better to offer but you can still go to a local library (if one is accessible) and print fliers with the link shown in text format instead for pretty cheap (like 5 cents per page for a black and white page)
One thing I highly recommend for activism that I don’t see mentioned on here is QR code stickers. You can buy a thermal printer online for about £10-15 and a pack of 6 sticker rolls for £4, I got mine on tiktok shop a few months ago and I’ve just finished my 2nd roll.
QR codes take a few seconds to generate (I use QR.io) and suddenly you’ve got hundreds of links to mutual aid funds or arab.org daily clicks or whatever else to put around your city/school/university. It’s a very easy and direct way to spend awareness.
Shoutout to jumping from project to project in a constant fury in a matter that every project of yours will be done in about a year at this rate but they'll all at least get done at the same time.
I've attatched the belt and after a considerable ammount of time spent fine-tuning the belt length it can now run at it's proper speed without any belt slippage
Next I will do a complete once-over to ensure that it's operating correctly, oiling everthing that needs it, then trying to remove the rust from several parts that have become tarnished with time. After this I'll might either turn my attention to my first project with it, or to it's cabinet to repair that instead!
Terribly sorry for lack of updates on the cydeck, college started and I sure was not ready. Anyway, I'm in the process of painting the shell so here's a picture of that
As of right now it's got 3 tones but you can't see the middle tone very well right now so I'm gonna outline all the seams with a thin black line or something to make it pop!
Hi! Here for the cyberdeck questions! I'll start basic and get more spesisfic.
How planned out was this, start to finish?
I think I see water cooling in the pictures but there's a radiator just in there. Is the radiator somehow exposed to the outside air or what? Are you just relying on sheer thermal mass?
How powerful are you planning on making this? The battery makes me think very. Any specialized uses?
Any chance I could get a price estimate?
Ah, and one last one
5. Are you aware you're the coolest person ever? (Is cool a good compliment? Eh, don't matter, it fits you to a t)
How planned out was this, start to finish?
- I had planned certain features that I wanted but this is more of a project to test the waters of what I can do right now and see what I'm capable of. Make mistakes, learn, y'know, all that jazz.
The Radiator/Cooling System
-the radiator is exposed to the outside and there is a vent running through the back of the case [behind the batteries] in which I will set up some fans to pull air though, but for the most part I am just relying on sheer thermal mass. I also have a very small reservoir [>100mL?] and a small pump.
How powerful are you planning on making this?
-I'm not sure in terms of power, the grand idea behind it was to be able to take it traveling, so I went with 900W 12V battery setup. I also plan on having the batteries for a while, and I'll see what specialized uses evolve as I plan on making it modular in the end
Price Estimate?
-All said and done I wanna say less than 900 bucks USD, which isn't horrible but way more than I wanted to spend, but there's been quite a few fuckups in terms of parts, it'd be nice if walk-in computer hardware/circuitry stores were still a thing in my area.
Are you aware you're the coolest person ever?
-There are people way cooler than me I'm sure, but I deffo appreciate the compliment!
