Figured out how to fit my bike in the back of my new car (barely) so I biked around the Boardman lake yesterday. I have 4 hours to go on a longer trip today. Thinking I'll start at the state park where I used to work for 3 years... Probably no one I know is still there, I think one ranger retired and the other transferred, but I'd like to see it. I think they finally replaced the 60 year old bathrooms that were such a pain to clean

She watches him.

She watches him care for the (now former) knight who hurt her. (The one she nearly killed.)

She watches him with his new partner, focused on his real passion of science. (There's a job opening for a lab assistant, but she could only ever be a villain’s sidekick.)

She watches him build a new life, with love and friendship and fulfillment and sunshine and absolutely nothing monstrous. (There's no place for her there.)

She watches him, from the shadows, careful to always wear a new face.

But sometimes, she thinks he looks back.

And watches her too.

So I visited my cousin who's still doing seasonal work. And once again I find myself asking why the hell I ever left it to be a full time factory worker

#hes in washington now though #the season is way longer there #part of the reason i stopped was because summer jobs in michigan. dont last very long #and winter jobs are getting less and less reliable. we barely had a winter this year

I've gotten most of what I wanted out of it (I'm nb, and didn't want the maximum effect - like, I wanted my voice a just a little lower, more fuzz on my face but not a visible beard, etc) so I'm starting to lower my dosage again.

idk if it’s just how my very silly brain operates but does anybody else get like. a weird second wave of procrastination right before you finish something. like you already did 70-90% of the work, it realistically won’t take you that long to be done, but for some reason. u just can’t. like. time’s up on executive function. like. oh sorry did you want to not be worried about this? bc im going to make u have to be worried about this. thanks!

Boy I Sure Hope This New Pain Isn't Permanent

#ive accepted the fact that my good knee is now my bad knee #i can deal with that #knees suck #but fuck. fuck #my shoulder/chest/upper back #it's only been 2 weeks. maybe it'll get better #or maybe my well-paying job isn't so well-paying if i need physical therapy because of it

saw a poll on here where one of the categories was “I have over 300 hours in a single video game” and people were picking it and saying “I have way more than 300 hours!!” but they were all talking about games like ffxiv or overwatch where there’s a prolonged play element. that’s just not impressive to me. you’re SUPPOSED to have 300 hours in those games. what game do you have over 300 hours in that you absolutely should not be able to have 300 hours in? mine is the ace attorney trilogy
