Vampire AU

In the days of old, there were stories which speak of Four Cardinal Heroes. A world in danger which calls for four people in other worlds to save them. These four heroes are immortal vampiric like beings—they are not heroes. The Four Vampire Lords, or, to some, The Four Horsemen. These four individuals wreck havoc and bring the world to its knees each time they are resurrected.

The vampires have numerous weaknesses. In the old stories, it has been said that they can be killed via sunlight exposure or other certain methods, such as a stake to the heart (but who doesn’t die by being impaled with a sharp object through a vital organ), and a poison specifically made for vampires which is a mixture of holy water and petals from the Wild Dogroses. These four chosen leaders can be brought back every certain number of years with a specific ceremony when the stars align a certain way according to who will be summoned. It is a similar process to reincarnation.

Vampires often feed on blood—but there are some who feed on the health or even the life force of humans (although, this is to be controlled or everyone’s life force will be fed on and the feeder will combust).

Everything always goes as planned.

Until one night, it doesn’t. A vampire is summoned wrongly. This one mishap changes the course of a repetition of history, especially for the vampire whose name is Iwatani Naofumi.

Rock Valley Neutral Café & Bar

So, Naofumi owns a very well-known and loved place in the city, named Rock Valley. During the day, it's a café-life place with some of the best pastries in town, and the coffee is godly. As the evening rolls around, it becomes more of a bar, and people fucking love the drinks Naofumi makes.

The thing about this place is that it lies in the middle of the darker and shadier side of town, and the side where the police and such are much more active.

Everyone in town knows Rock Valley as a neutral place, and no one gets away with starting anything there, or around the place. As soon as anyone tries anything, the mafia, freelancers, and such, have their weapons out, pointed and ready, while the police and such are ready to arrest someone on the spot. The same thing happens whenever someone tries to threaten Naofumi or his kids.

The few who know or figured out that Naofumi is married also may get a little passive-aggressive if someone starts flirting with Naofumi, drunk or not.

People also know that the café is openly an LGBTQ+ safe place, and anyone who starts talking LGBTQ-phobic shit is quickly kicked out.

Everyone also may or may not be secretly a bit protective of Naofumi and the kids, and this includes when they're just out and about in the streets, maybe buying groceries.

Naofumi and the kids basically have immunity from literally anything.

The first time Naofumi's husband came home, people were wary of this new red-haired guy suddenly waltzing into the café and being overly affectionate and close with Naofumi. Everyone wanted to know who the guy was when he could get such happy and bright smiles out of Naofumi. After closing hours, everyone did a background check on the guy.

L'Arc Berg, CEO of Shroud Corp. Married with three anonymous kids, and an open supporter of the LGBT community. Stupidly rich and has a very high status.

The next day, when L'Arc was walking to the café, he was threatened at least 26 consecutive times individually, that if he hurts Naofumi, he's going down to suffer.

Only a week later, L'Arc stopped coming, and people found out that he'd gone on another business trip. A week after that, a new person arrived for the first time once again; a beautiful lady with blue hair and multiple pieces of jewelry adjourned with beautiful jewels.

Acting very close with Naofumi, and also getting bright and happy smiles out of him and the kids, people once again did a throughout background check.

Therese Alexandrite, famous jeweler. Married with three anonymous kids. Very rich and sought-after for her beauty but putting down all advances that aren't her husbands.

Staying for the next three weeks, Therese was there when L'Arc came back the second time, with the goal of taking the whole family on vacation. The happy smiles of the kids were enough to make everyone momentarily forget that that meant the café and bar would be closed for however long Naofumi would be gone.

When a newbie criminal group arrives in town, trying to get some turf of their own, they decide to get something to eat first. Going to the closest place, they end up at Rock Valley Café & Bar. Having done their background research to know what they're up against, they're all very shocked to see powerful mafia people and police officers inside, peacefully eating the delicious pastries and drinking whatever they ordered. And the fact that the guy standing behind the counter is telling the mafia to get their feet off the table unless they wanna be on the banned list, and that the police officers should eat fewer doughnuts.

After getting over their shock, they're greeted by a kid with long blonde hair, wearing a large light blue sweater with wings drawn on the back. The girl then leads them to a table in the corner, before another girl, this one seemingly in her teen years, with long auburn hair, comes over to give them the menus.

Deciding to assert who they are, they act arrogant and threateningly towards the girl, who just stares before going to another table. After the girl leaves, the group feels many intense stares at them. Looking around, they find both the police, mafia, and other individuals staring intensely at them, waiting for them to make a single mistake.

At the end of the day, after the group leaves the café, they're quickly sent many threats.

'Try anything at Rock Valley or do anything to the employers or owner; You're Dead.'

Its a mix both, but its mostly the delusion and Dottore's fault for forcing his body. Since then on he'll never be as physically strong as he was before, but he sure is crafty enough to make up for it!
