The sour Cuckoonut would lay eggs in empty egg spots in piñata houses to cause issues with romancing, as well as waking up sleeping piñatas to make them sad. Meanwhile the tamed version protects baby piñatas and comforts sad piñatas to get their happiness restored.

PSA for any writers who need to hear this, having a character finally remove themselves from a toxic relationship that naerly drove them to suicide, letting them learn how to enjoy life again and love and be love outside of the narrow world they had been living in for so long, and then killing them anyway to further the emotional arc of the person they were in a toxic relationship in is not, in fact, narratively satisfying at all

do you know how heartbreaking it is to take the character that just did drag, and how meaningful that moment was, not just for himself but for the audience watching, it felt like a lot of us were truly being seen by a show and its creators for the first time, like finally, this is a safe space for me and people like me, that its okay to be different, and in any capacity, and that being different isnt an impediment to love, but can even foster it, and that we should embrace who we are, and love ourselves and each other and do so fearlessly, and you take him and you kill him two episodes later? the character that at that moment especially, was an embodiment of a lot of us, you decide to kill him not an hour later... and in an unnecessary and unheroic way on top of it all. theres a reason i say it feels like a betrayal, because thats literally what it is.
