tbh I'd be really interested in knowing the breakdown of identities between people who are fine with others getting Astarion's scars as a tattoo and people who aren't. I'm on the side of being uncomfortable with it because of my background and the history of one side of my family, so I'm curious if there are lots of other people in the same camp who have similar backgrounds and if there's really a correlation there

I watch all the live action ATLA eps and overall I think it was fine. The first ep was atrocious but the rest of them weren't so bad, though some of the changes they made started losing me in the last 2 eps.

It's been kind of disheartening to see a few people I follow praise a certain youtuber over the past few days and seemingly ignore the fact that he was racist and anti-semitic in the past just because he can draw now? I usually follow people whose views line up with mine, so it's a shock whenever they don't. And I get some people might not be/have been online enough to know about the controversies or even who he is, but it really hurts when someone does know, acknowledges that they know, and platforms him anyway.

Like. It's not like the controversies around him were speculative things or things that could be easily waved away as "oh he was just messing around," it was some messed up stuff. Not anything extreme, but stuff that hurt communities then and continues to hurt them now because his fans refuse to acknowledge the severity of what happened and brush it off and that spreads. One of the things he did was call someone the N word, which was especially bad coming from a white man. With my own background, that's something that is personal to me and not something I could ever forgive, and I hate that even now people will brush it off.

Saw that Raphael romance petition floating around and uhhhh yikes, I really hope Larian doesn't listen to it even a little bit. I appreciate that Larian has been very open to fan feedback and requests and have even implemented some, but at some point if they aren't careful it's going to bite them in the ass with fans feeling more and more entitled to getting changes put in the game.

#Also that petition was asking for A LOT like omg #Not even a romance but damn near making him Halsin 2.0 #If Larian was going to add anything it oughta be more content for Wyll #But yeah I'm glad for what they've given us but you can already see how some fans expect all their wants to be taken seriously #and I think if they implemented even one thing from that petition it would just fuel the fire
