Jesse’s fluent in three languages, though his grammar is awful. He grew up surrounded by English and Mandrin Chinese. Though he knew little Chinese--mostly the insults he picked from the other schoolkids--Jesse was able to finish learning it during his time with the CIA. He also learned Spanish and French, though he was never good at French or the pronunciation. He finds that these three languages usually get him through life; though he can be spotted using Google Translate when he doesn’t quite know what something says.

Jesse’s addicted to drugs--a certain cut of weed and lsd he found in Iraq, only sold by one particular dealer who he figures is dead by now. However, since his return to the States (and subsequent escape from rehab), he’s tried pretty much anything under the sun. When he knows a gig’s coming up, he’ll cease his usage a couple of days beforehand and use beta blockers to steady his hands and focus him.
