Yet, the boy's words , like a flame to gasoline, sent Jaehyun's blood simmering with an uncharacteristic fire. A twinge of jealousy gnawed at him, courtesy of Minnie and Johnny's relationship —lit up thoughts that he'd rather not acknowledge. Seeking refuge from his feelings, Jaehyun embraced his old friend alcohol, a bad coping mechanism that he needed to banish from his life. "I'm not usually the princess type, but for today, let's paint the town pink. Where's my a gold plastic crown and pink heart-shaped clip-on earrings," he smiled , raising his hand for a high five that pulled Johnny into a one-armed hug."Now, my friend, that sounds like a fun adventure. Let's end the night by visiting my favorite bar."

“Good sir,” Johnny pulled out the seat next to Jaehyun at the bar with a bright smile on his face. “I don’t support drinking and driving, so I hope you don’t mind bring passenger princess.” He held up the keys to the ATV he’d rented for the day for his friend to see. “There’s a dune buggy with our names on it and a trail that loops around the island. Shall we? We're due for an adventure."

Jaehyun wandered up to the restaurant, lured by the siren call of discounted drinks that whispered promises of drunken shenanigans. Anything to get his mind off of Johnny and Minnie. Midway through his fifth drink, his discerning gaze caught Haechan walking in, accompanied by a striking duo. Rising with an unsteady grace, Jaehyun approached the trio, a mischievous grin playing on his lips."Cover your ears, Haechan," he declared, locking eyes with Beomgyu with a shameless wink. "Is your body a map because I like to travel, baby girl. Apologies to the fine gentleman beside this vision of loveliness, seriously you're a pretty lady; you're kinda hot and sexy. Just want to run my fingers through your hair." He took a seat and flagged down the waiter for another drink. "Damn, Haechan, are you planning to eat the entire menu?" he mused, raising an eyebrow at the younger boy.

Haechan wasted no time going to the casino to meet up with Kai. As much as he hated to admit it, Kai had a point. He wore his emotions on his sleeves which allowed people to continously take advantage of him. Why couldn't he be more like his hyungs? Johnny and Jaehyun seemed so much cooler than him. Kai might have treated him harshly, but he promised to make him a winner. As he approached the other male, he could feel himself growing nervous. It had been years, and Kai hadn't changed. He was charming and attractive. Although no one could beat his boyfriend's beauty. What would Wooyoung think about him hanging out with a person like Kai? He might disapprove. "Umm...hi Kai."
