my mom told me when i was young, i had a spark in my eye like no one else. a few days ago, she told me she’s never seen someone look so dead, but still be alive. my dad drank to drown his demons, he told me to never start drinking. he never told me that it works. my doctor told me that to live, I’d have to want to save myself. I told him that you can’t bring people back to life. my family told me they would never be disappointed in me. they also told me they were tired of my sadness.
