the king chuckled softly, red eyes scanning the wide variety of tea he had collect over the years.

“ well, we have all sorts now . . . green tea, golden flower tea, my personal favourite. . . “

he smiled, holding the yellow decorated box. he turned to the reformed doctor, a tender expression on his face. o , how he’d missed moments like these.

A contented smile spreads across his skull, giving a nod in confirmation. It was almost like old times - sitting in the comfort of Asgore's presence, making small talk over a cup of tea and a few small snacks. Given, it used to be a lot more sure of what to talk about, but considering how much there is to catch up on... it isn't sure where to start. Years of nonexistence tends to do that to monsters.
