Skeletor: New Adventures of He-Man, is not the same Skeletor from the Filmation cartoon, but instead is his son.

Anyone who watched the Filmation Masters of the Universe and then picked up the New Adventures of He-Man will find the NA Skeletor nearly unrecognizable from the original Skeletor. From his voice, to his appearance, to his behavior.

Officially, the creators say that the Skeletor of NA is the exact same Skeletor from the Filmation show. But to anyone who watches the two, they are not the same person.

NA Skeletor Has a Neck, Filmation Skeletor Does Not

NA Skeletor has a neck supporting his skull. And while Filmation Skeletor is never shown with his hood down, the art uses shadows to heavily imply that there is nothing supporting original!Skeletor's head.

Even when NA Skeletor is wearing a helmet that would create those same shadows, the artist still clearly show that he has a neck. He's not just a floating skull over his shoulders.

NA Skeletor has Eyeballs with Pupils, Filmation Skeletor Just had Empty Eye-Sockets

Not just the red glow that 2002 gave Skeletor. Those are very clearly defined eyeballs. Red sclera with black pupils.

Original!Skeletor's eye-sockets are as empty as the space where his neck should be.

NA Skeletor is a Different Shade of Blue from Filmation Skeletor

NA Skeletor is a paler shade of blue. More of a robin's egg while Original! Skeletor is more of a light-royal, or dusky jewel-blue.
