— according to nami, women like compliments, flowers, gifts and a candle lit dinner with a beautiful setting. all the typical romantic gestures.

— with that, zoro begins to court you.

— and he does exactly what nami told him.

— day 1: he randomly compliments you on your looks and whatever you do.

— day 2: he gives you flowers. not a big fancy bouquet of roses, but a few flowers he plucked from a forest tied together with a string.

— day 3: he buys you something with what money he has from logue town and gives it to you as a gift.

— day 4: he prepares a secret candle lit dinner for you with food he cooked himself as your dinner and the beautiful setting being the deck of the going merry, overlooking the ocean. the ship almost catches on fire due to the candle accidentally falling on top of spilt alcohol. you appreciated the thought and effort he put into the whole thing, even though the ship almost burnt to a crisp.

— on the 5th day, he finally confesses.

— and you also confess. in truth, you have had feelings for him as well, so it isn’t one-sided.

— hearing your confession, zoro is surprised, to say the least.

— nevertheless, he is glad you return his feelings. zoro doesn’t believe in god, but he thanks god for it.

— he presses his lips onto yours and kisses you.

— everyone catches sight of you and zoro kissing. you can hear nami and ussop cheering for you, luffy’s asexual ass being confused as ever and sanji fuming.

— after he kisses you, he gives you a toothy smile. a smile that you adore.

— you smile back, happy and content.

The familiar voice was James Buchanan Barnes. The guy who had been pursuing you for very long time and exactly the person you were hiding from or trying to anyway. You always felt butterflies when he talked to you. So you tried to avoid him since he constantly flirted with you.

"Nobody" You say unconvincingly. "Whatever you say princess." You put down the newspaper to give him a look. "That's better now I can look at your pretty face" He says giving you a charming smile.Oh Betty that traitor leaving you alone with him. "What are you doing here?" You ask. "Steve and I were just coming out of that diner and then I saw you." He says, "And how'd you recognise me?" You ask. "Oh I'd recognise you anywhere" He says. "And I'd say you did too given the fact that you were hiding". "I wasn't- I wasn't hiding from you" You stutter slightly. "Sure you weren't. Just admit it sweetheart you like me just as much as I like you.". You couldn't say anything because he was absolutely right.

"So would you like to go out to dinner with me tonight?. "Would you leave me alone if I did" You ask trying to look unaffected. "I promise" He said but his flirtatious smirk told you otherwise. "Fine then I'll go out with you" You mumble looking to the ground. He put his finger to your chin moving your face to look at him. Your eyes widened as he pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek. He gives a boyish grin saying "Oh you are so adorable doll.". "Oh screw this coy girl act" You mutter before pecking his lips. He doesn't hesitate a second before pulling you in for another, this time's slower and longer. One of his hands is cupping your cheek while the other is holding your waist and pressing you against him. He then whispers in your ear "Well that's a start if we wanna have those kids". You blush as he leaves giving you a cheeky smile.

• he’d walk up to you, massage your shoulders gently and lean in to kiss your neck with hope to at least, relief you from the stress that studies were causing you

• married life with Pietro is full of surprise but that’s what makes it so special
