    Katherine and showing vulnerability is a combination very rarely seen; her invisible shield always pulled up so no one can come to close and take advantage of her ever again. Not after her ex had ruined her; she wouldn’t allow anyone to manipulate her like that again. Instead, Katherine is known as someone too harsh, biting away from her whenever anyone annoyed her. But this boy knew everything about her, knew about the ways that Ryder had ruined her; the thoughts gushed out on an evening where Kat had been absolutely wasted and ended up crying on their shoulder. She trusted him, and that was a big deal.

    So when another night is spend with a bottle of strong liquor, Katherine finds herself gravitating towards him, dark hues drinking in the sight of him as the two of them are sat in their usual spot; the roof. It’s quiet, a comfortable quiet that only confirms to her just how attached she had grown. “Thank you,” finally cuts in, softly, gently. “Thank you for always being there for me.”

      Nobody could really truly tell Eun why he’d always be here for the girl yet it was something he just always did that needed no answer. Maybe it was the fact that he had been with her through so much that being away from her would seem so unfamiliar so weird that he just always spent his time with her. Following his troubled past he wouldn’t want to be lonely once more as he felt he had just once again discovered what it felt like to be ...not alone. 

      There they were once again in their usual positions him humming his usual song as they just sit in a comfortable silence that is once in a while interupted by the noises coming from his mouth until he hears a gentle voice. He looks up and it is indeed Katherine, his eyebrows scrunching a little in confusion even though he’s heard what she’s said he still feels the words unnecessary as she has also saved him in a way. Eun looks at her his features still gentle and soft as he shakes his head while saying, “What are you saying?” He questions then continues. “You know better than anyone that this is a mutual understanding we have and no thanks are necessary.” He finishes while picking up his own cup filled with the liquor and drinks making a pleasant sound.
