Baz finds out that Simon has never been kissed anywhere but his mouth, and he is determined to change that...

There’s kisses on Simon’s moles of course but there’s also a kiss on each finger tip and lips brushing across his knuckles. Then there’s a kiss on the back of each hand and the inside of each wrist.

Later, there’s a kiss on the back of his neck as Baz comes up behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist. There’s kisses on his forehead and then all over his face as Baz showers him with love.

There’s a trail of kisses down the side of his neck that leads down his chest. There’s a kiss just behind his ear, then one on his shoulder.

There’s a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose as Baz smiles at his adorkable boyfriend. There’s a quick kiss on his cheek as Baz passes by him, a reminder that he’s there.

Simon doesn’t understand what is driving Baz to do this, but he knows that each kiss has him falling in love a little more.

So again, this trio of images has been rendered in a limited palette, each one illustrating a part of a day in Simon and Baz’s happy ending (which I REALLY HOPE THEY GET. *ahem*). The three-piece set is just my small way of saying, “Thanks for being here.” ❤️

Happy Saturday! As I mentioned last week, I’m working through a trio of post-canon happy-ending images titled “A Boy In My Arms” as a little thank-you to all you lovely folks who have joined me here on Tumblr since September. Each image is rendered with a limited palette, which has made these a lot of fun to complete. 

Last week’s was “Sunrise,” and here is “Sunset.” (Next week: “Midnight.”)

Simon, petting 2/3 of their dogs, weeping: i don’t have enough hands.

simon: hey baz! i hope your day will be memeingful :)

baz: i literally am in love with you but this shit makes me want to punch you

penny: whats your biggest fear ?

baz: i have none

penny: what if you one day woke up and simon was taller than you ?

baz: i have one fear

simon, in the other room: that was unnecessary

“So you eat human food and vampire food.”

“For the seventh time, yes,” Baz sighed, rubbing his forehead.

Simon was becoming more and more content with his decision to crash Baz’s peaceful winter holiday by the second. In the last three minutes, he’d learned more about vampires (and Baz, of course) than he had in his seven years of dorming with him.

“Weird…” Simon paused. “So which one tastes better?”

“I - what kind of question is that?”

Simon shrugged, and Baz sighed again. Baz sighed too much; it was odd, but then again, what else could he have expected from him?

“I suppose it depends on my mood,” Baz paused. “You do look particularly tasty right now.”

Simon wasn’t entirely sure he was joking. It was Baz, after all, so he scooted back a little bit. Baz looked amused, sitting back in satisfaction.

“Can I see them again? Your teeth,” Simon prodded.

“No.”

“Please?” Simon refrained from pointing out that he had just saved Baz from burning to death in a fiery explosion.

“Is that why you kissed me?” Baz rolled his eyes. “To get me to answer whatever idiotic questions you come up with? Honestly, next you’ll be asking if I can see myself in mirrors.”

Simon’s eyes widened. “Can you?”

“Snow, you have a cute nose, don’t make me break it.”

“What?”

“I said don’t make me break it.”

“Before that, you prat.”

“You have a cute nose?”

“Yeah.”

“What about it?”

“You think my nose is cute?” Simon hoped the flickering of Baz’s fireplace wasn’t bright enough to reveal the blush spreading across his cheeks, before remembering that Baz sort of had night vision.

“You act as if you’ve never been complimented before,” Baz muttered, pointedly looking into the flames.

“I haven’t,” Simon raised a brow. “By you.”

“Don’t get too used to it.”

“The story is supposed to be over. Simon Snow did everything he was supposed to do. He beat the villain. He won the war. He even fell in love. Now comes the good part, right? Now comes the happily ever after…

“So why can’t Simon Snow get off the couch?

“What he needs, according to his best friend, is a change of scenery. He just needs to see himself in a new light… That’s how Simon and Penny and Baz end up in a vintage convertible, tearing across the American West. They find trouble, of course. (Dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns.) And they get lost. They get so lost, they start to wonder whether they ever knew where they were headed in the first place…”
