Zero is a gentle giant with his prey, letting them touch his uvula and tongue. He tolerates his gag reflex very well and lets his prey hang inside his throat manipulating his throat muscles for a comfortable squeeze, being careful about his own strength. His stomach is very sensitive and purrs when his prey pets his muscular walls.

Metal Sonic would eat an Eggpawn for breakfast if it angered him like not following orders. His stomach can completely dissolve the thickest of metals. Absorbing the minerals he needs to operate. His digestive system is quite muscular able to crush his prey. In short a measly eggpawn is just a snack while he could challenge bigger targets if he were hungry enough he would without question. Eggman makes sure he's properly fed because he's a good eggdad.

We're starting it off with experimental robot vore.

A tall being of metal, gears and pipes stands in front of you, carefully assembled into a humanoid form. In the rainy night, all you can see are the pulsating wires and cable, filled with a warm, bright blue liquid. You should probably be afraid, but you only have one thought.

Oh, it must be heavenly to be inside of him.

Though the 9 feet tall entity doesn't understand the appeal, or why you'd wish to be inside of him, he obliges and picks you up - humans are just too cute to say no to.

In order for you to enter his body, though, he needs to remove a tube with the bright blue fluid that's connected to his "mouth" first... luckily, even if it's a bit painful for him, the chemical that helps him breathe isn't harmful for you. It feels like you're going down a comfortably warm water slide...

Once you're inside his stomach, his voice comes clearly to you, despite the static... he's checking on you. Did you make it? After he reconnected the tube, he seems to be fine again as well. The fluid seems to circulate around you inside small tubes, keeping the inside of his stomach bright enough for you to see. So far, so good.

But he needs to remove the excess temperature from his body somehow, in order to keep you from overheating. Occasionally, steam rises up, and explodes out of him with the sound of horns and pipes. It... embarrasses him a little. Is that something like a burp, perhaps? Maybe rubbing his "belly" can help... if he even feels it at all.

He certainly feels it. What a strange sensation... a little human is giving him a belly rub. From inside. Oh, how he adores mankind... always so helpful and supportive, even in the weirdest situations.

Robot preds can regurgitate their prey without vomiting them up uncomfortably. Unlike organic preds they can use every part of their body to their advantage. Including slowing their heart down so that the prey is less anxious.

“ Well, I’m a lizard, not a vehicle. I don’t exactly have a cockpit or a cabin, so …. ” 

“ So you ate me?! ” 

The mechanical monitor grimaced to himself. The aghast outcry of his human friend echoed within his armor plating, unheard to the outside, but ringing loud and clear in his ears.

“ Calm down. You’re perfectly safe in there. I need to climb to get us out of here, and I can’t exactly do that while carrying you. ”

He felt a light thump on the inside––no-doubt the human taking out his frustration on the inner walls of his tank. The monitor could only roll his eyes.

“ Dude––It’s slimy in here! Let me out! ”

Neo Metal Sonic actually does have a mouth, he just hides it most of the time.

He has some really sharp teeth and his mouth is actually pretty slimy and fleshy but very tough.

Going down into his throat it's the slimiest and very muscular, you could feel his hot breath on the way down he's actually very gentle with handling his prey so no need to worry about getting smothered.

Into the stomach you might find chewed up circuitry and metal from his last meal, It's actually tough flesh but soft on the outside. There might be liquid in his belly to help with digestion but he can remove it quickly to keep you safe.

Robot preds with the ability to make synthetic saliva and insides that, while still soft and gentle against skin/scales/fur/whatever, are waterproof, covering an anxious prey in the saliva as a sort of massage before swallowing them. Maybe they change a few things so that their insides are just slightly more humid, or even just a small pool at the bottom of the stomach of the same stuff or similar stuff to the synthetic saliva. Mostly just to calm them down and help them feel a bit less anxious before they go in.
