That’s why I came to you.” The paper had some strange language on it. One that the two likely have never seen. “You’re the adult, shouldn’t you know this?” Then again, Lance wasn’t the brightest in the group, but she still loved him. “Maybe Rapunzel or Varian might know.”

She opened her mouth to ask where was the fun in carefully, then closed it again without speaking as she remembered that the fun was in not getting seriously chewed out by Eugene. Had happened last time, and while Angry would simply roll her eyes as he raged, she had to admit… that had absolutely not been a good time.

Carefully it was, then.

There went Red; grabbing it, swinging a little, pushing off. The leap sent the chandelier swaying back Angry’s way just gently, and the dark-haired girl didn’t waste a moment in hesitation; she leapt, easily catching onto the thing’s metal rungs between the delicate ornamentation. Her momentum was enough to swing the chandelier sharply back in the other direction; and as soon as it reached the height of its arc, Angry let go, tucking her legs in to execute a neat little double-somersault that landed her firmly on her feet, one hand reached out in front to catch herself just in case she failed to stick the landing.

She looked at her sister, a satisfied grin riding her small features… but didn’t quite dare look behind her.

“So? Is the chandelier still standing?”

It hadn’t given way under her, which had to be a good sign, so she was assuming the best… but there was always the off chance that her letting go had jarred it loose.

— ✿ She didn’t want to come off as a buzz kill, but inside the castle only they were to be careful. As her sister swung on the chandelier, the young girl took a quick glance in the corridor. Again seeing no one. A big relief came off her shoulders, as she took a quick breath. Looking back, Red caught Angry doing her double-somersault. Is the chandelier still standing? Her green eyes glanced at the slightly swaying light fixture. In one piece. A smile spread across her face, as she held up a thumbs up.

“Perfect! And all in the clear!” God, she hoped she didn't jinx that. If anyone showed up now, she hoped it’d be Rapunzel.

— ⚡ Her grinned slightly faltered. She felt ready to train with her new companion, but also nervous. But not just nervous, anxious and worried as well. Which was rare for her. Not wanting to fail at her new training and disappoint the man that took her in. But she was still willing to try and no way was she backing down. “Ready and honored. I won’t let you down!”

— ⚡ Kiera let out a laugh. “You’re getting better at scaring everyone, kiddo.” Lifting him up, she placed the kid on her shoulders. “I bet you’re pumped and ready for Halloween.” She had a feeling it would be just the two of them, since Frey was too young to go out for the holiday. Her sister or Lance would probably dress her in something cute to make the town gush over her.

Letting out a groan, she opened the door and let out a startled shriek!
