i do, often, think of that quote from wislawa szymborska talking about love and the inexplicability of some of it. "great love is never justified" etc. and it truly isn't. and thank god for that.

Find meaning. Distinguish melancholy from sadness. Go out for a walk. It doesn't have to be a romantic walk in the park, spring at its most spectacular moment, flowers and smells and outstanding poetical imagery smoothly transferring you into another world. It doesn't have to be a walk during which you'll have multiple life epiphanies and discover meanings no other brain ever managed to encounter. Do not be afraid of spending quality time by yourself. Find meaning or don't find meaning but "steal" some time and give it freely and exclusively to your own self. Opt for privacy and solitude. That doesn't make you antisocial or cause you to reject the rest of the world. But you need to breathe. And you need to be.
Albert Camus, from Notebooks 1951-1959

"Stay at home girlfriend" You are a human pet to him, a cat he can fuck, I never see tiktok/youtube stay at home girlfriends writing novel, traveling and playing video games or any fun exciting leisure activities you can do without a job. They aren't taking advantage of these rich loser men, they are all cooking instagramable green meals, cleaning, exercising on treadmills like hamsters and performing lengthy boring beauty rituals. Girl you have a wealthy benefactor and you are unemployed, become obsessed with videogames, make a indie film on his dime, write a genius manifesto, and gain 50 pounds and see if he won't kick you out. He wants your life empty and curated around him. Soon you'll started being driven mad by that pesky yellow wallpaper.

“Maybe I’ve wanted you for all these years. I couldn’t call it by name before, but maybe it’s been there since I first knew you. I never felt that way about anybody but you. I’ve never loved a man. I never knew why before. Maybe it’s that.”
The Children’s Hour (1961) dir. William Wyler
