Silas held up his hands in surrender with a smirk. “I didn’t say we had to be buddies, more like frenemies if anything at all. The game isn’t exclusive to you, from what I can tell my bloodline has hurt a lot of people. Stefan did rip people’s heads off after all. I’d like to think I am a bit tamer in comparison.” He finishes his drink before pouring himself another. 

“Right. Because deceiving a teenager who doesn’t know any better, and making her do things against her own better judgement for your own sake is so tame. Don’t ever think I’ve forgotten what you made me do.” She said firmly. “But frenemies sounds good. Because I’ve already fixed your mess, and I don’t hold grudges over things that can easily be put right.” She said intentionally, diminishing his power, even though it wasn’t easy at all, and he is very powerful in his own right. “And luckily for you, I’m not feeling so murderous anymore. You can thank the bourbon for that.”

"That is exactly what it means actually." Silas smirked slightly before offering the young woman his hand. "I'm Silas. It's a pleasure to meet you Amara." Something just didn't sit quite right for him.

Amara looked down at her name tag, sucking her teeth as her cheeks turned pink. “Yeah… in Sanskrit it means immortal. Makes sense since it’s a name from, like, Ancient Greece,” she joked.

Silas removed his fingers before she managed to crush them with the draw, a smirk forming on his lips as she seemed to be getting aggravated with him. It was so easy. Too easy sometimes. He grinned charmingly, grabbing the papers from her and spinning around on his heel to pace the room. His eyes scanned them quickly, taking in the complication of the spell and ingredients. "I assume we will start with the witch rune since my blood is readily available. Unless you have some werewolf or vampire blood stashed somewhere." He flipped the page glancing over the spell. "We'll also need a celestial event."
