About this weekend

A lot has come to light over the past few days regarding members of this fandom. I’ve had to once more process the feelings of all those months ago when the issues that my friends and I witnessed occurred. I had to deal with anger and frustration due to my friends being muted, booted, and blocked by people who claimed they were accepting of everyone. When I brought many concerning behaviors to the involved parties, I had the same thing happen to me. We were slandered when they made vague posts about drama and whenever someone would send an ask about the situation. Our names were also shared in a Discord server with a “reason” why we were blocked. 

Even now as we are speaking out about what occurred, they are continuing to protect each other. Their apologies ring insincere because, in the same post, they claim that it wasn’t their place even though they were the moderators/owners of the group. They had the power to do better and chose not to. They continued their ways for almost 10 months until it was no longer in their best interest to do so. At the end of the day, they will get off with a slap on the wrist and you’ll let them because that is how this song and dance always goes.

I'm happy for him! I know he's wanted to be a papa for sometime now and by the look of things, it's come true. As for writing for fanfic now that he's having a kid is something I have to reflect on.
