Premise :

A moment of weakness is all it took.

Wandering from the crowds, shying away to be alone, Only before you, blocking your path is an odd sight. A tear in space itself, warm air oozes out like a wound giving the effect of breathing.

Without time to think much about the thing before you, the little tear rips open, a swirl of colors brightens the area, almost blinding you, a voice calls from within, its almost familiar, a loved one? it cries for help….

Those who chose to set through, like curious animals, either drawn in by curiosity or concern, or not at all, it ends the same, with two large paw like appendages shooting out, gripping you with both hands, the grip tight and unforgiving. You struggle but it does nothing as the paws retract into the swirling door, its touch like boiling water…painful but oddly soothing…..

And then you wake up, somewhere unknown to you, a city? but something feels…wrong.

| Something in Rinne bent a little, getting close to breaking while he listened to this man tell him everything he already knew, that they were images to be profited upon and nothing more... he hated it, hated that sort of industry so willing to cut the heads off even the most promising group because they didn't meet quota.

However his resolve refused to let him be beaten around and treated just as poorly as he had been when he first started as an idol, now Gatekeeper was just doing for what hurt the most.

"Fufu, did you hear yourself right now?" Pathetic. "you can try and try to intimidate me, put me in my place, but ya clearly forget what my whole dig is.

Honestly aren't you working with the producers? and you can't even figure that out? come on, feed me more, call me names, degrade me all ya want, it doesn't even hurt, in fact i welcome it...cause at least i'll be me, and not some little lamb for you lot to parade around." leaning in just as the other had moments before.

And of course, he had to bring Hiiro into this too...Hiiro who he had done all that for, Tenshouin had nothing to do with how that play ended, even Rinne knew his time was limited....if not Alkaloid, someone else would have grown to clash with them. That was what the industry did.

Throwing his hands up as he passed the gatekeeper, turning to face him, "Geez you're such a hard ass ya know that? talking about that time like you were there, say say do they still talk about those days? when Crazy:B made the industry shake in its wittle boots for just a moment. you can share with me~

When speaking in such way to the oldest Amagi, one might wonder if Gatekeeper meant for this to be about the relatively recent SS events or not... if one knew about him, they might just pick up an annoyance in his voice. However, his tone was, overall, as dead as usual.

If this was a few months prior, he would have believed the other's words were only about the game. That his mind was as singleminded and only raw, youthful force was what put the balance in his favor.

... not anymore. He was not going to underestimate him again. Despite all this stupidity...

"Two bottom set pairs. Beat your top pair."

It wasn't a threat Izumi hadn't heard before, something that dug deep, however at this point, he knew it was just the process of being looked down upon in this type of industry.

This guy just made his blood boil, he's SO annoying.
